The fact that Dilan is feeling sorry for Sabiha, and that too in the very same episode in which Sabiha attempts to kill her and her husband, is unfathomable. It's simply a writing flaw, and no amount of pity or benevolence could excuse Dilan's level of tolerance. Sabiha was so cruel, so unhinged, she put Dilan through arguably the most horrific things imaginable, and in absolutely no corner of the world would those offenses be deemed non-punishable. Raiding their wedding, abducting her on what was meant to be their most cherishable day, keeping her shackled to a bed, subjecting her to the most inhumane treatment for three months, withholding from her if her family even survived the shootout, then later threatening her with her husband's life, coercing her into sabotaging her marriage, and as if all of that wasn't brutal enough, having the nerve to actually get her husband shot. Did Dilan suffer from memory loss or what? No matter how good-willed or empathetic you may have portrayed Dilan, Sabiha's actions are unforgivable. Dilan isn't some goddess or angel; she's a human, no human could ever attain this level of patience; it's just unrealistic. It's one thing for Dilan to not tell Baran the whole truth about Sabiha, for she doesn't want further animosity to prevail, but it's quite another to actually try to rationalize or defend Sabiha's actions in front of Baran. The use of ridiculous explanations like "All Sabiha did was out of her love for Gulshah" or "She's a grieving mother" is so appalling, and Dilan looks so naive and frankly stupid while saying it. It's offensive to Baran as well, to be slandered by Sabiha first, followed by Dilan's attempt to justify Sabiha's vile behavior. The writers had already demonized Sabiha enough, beyond the point of reparability, and all of a sudden they turned her into a victim. Now, Gulshah is at fault for everything, and Sabiha comes out clean. It was Sabiha's own choice to blindly trust Gulshah and not conduct any investigations before pledging to avenge her death and completely destroy someone's life in the process. At this point, I don't feel the slightest sorrow for Sabiha, and I don't relate to Dilan for being so accommodating either. If Sabiha had truly done something concrete to redeem herself, other than offering an apology or sobbing uncontrollably, it would've been a different story, but as of now, Dilan is being overly generous, and Sabiha deserves none of it.
