While we see protests on the streets of Venezuela the country is trying to survive a dramatic crisis under Maduro's rule. Its currency goes down in value tens times daily, people can not afford even basic goods or food, cannot find a job, eat from garbage beans and massively escaping to the neighboring countries causing a huge migration crisis.
Violence rates go off the scale - it's super easy to be robbed and killed for a dollar. Caracas is the most dangerous place I've ever visited, though it looks pretty normal and safe on the surface. It was too dangerous to make a full interview video on the streets but I managed to cover the topic somehow, to find the local who will show you the real picture of today's Venezuela and people trying to survive from starving and crime in an ex-prosperous country full of cheap oil.
