Venison meat hunt 

Join us on a late winters evening in the Ahimanawa Ranges as we chase a red deer for the freezer. She's a good time of the year to be on the hill, deer are generally in pretty bloody good condition!
On this trip, both of us were able to put a deer on the deck, steve sopped the first one in its tracks and several minutes later the same deer come running back out, see what happens.......
