Just made an #SRP venny welly for my daughter's birthday dinner, at her request. Superb! Served with a sauce and some pomme boulanger and tender stem. It was so good, you wouldn't call the King your uncle!!!

You should use a capital Y to start a sentence, close your brackets, and only use three dots for an ellipsis. :P

Because, you are butcher and, not a chef, I will inform you that there is a difference between chopped and diced. Chopped bigger, diced smaller. Beautiful dish, thank you for sharing my friend.

I always made mine using normal liver pate and bacon to wrap the meat, whichever I was using, Chicken breast is also very nice.

At time mark 8:07, when your shallot and mushroom mixture is done, add 4oz. of goat cheese crumbles and mix to form a creamy mixture, then place that into small puff pastry cups, sprinkle the top with some grated parm and bake in the oven - BEST appetizers ever! Would pair nicely with this Wellington as a first course. cheers

Just did this but with chicken breast stuffed with sausage in a roulade config. Tasted great! I might add some spinach to the inside as well next time

Scott, another success. However I can't remember anything in the film to say you should remove cling film/cellophane from the meat before applying the pastry-so I left it on. With a sharp knife the resulting wellington was easy to slice but somewhat chewy in the mouth. My fault I think, I'll pay closer attenton next time! Mark
