During the Cooking of Upma, you have added Lemon to it. Normally, it was told to me that we should not add lemon while cooking which could make the dish bitter. Kindly Suggest in this Case. I will Watch all the Episodes of Cook with Comali, have watched all the Episodes of Season 1, nearly 3 times. I like it. My mom used to prepare this often. Bread uppuma & bread masala using(peas ,carrot,beans,onions,chilly.) superrrrr dish from so many years we have been preparing.

Nice snack venkatesh. I tried and it came well. I improvised a little bit by adding tomato, coloured capsicum, potato wedges, ground nut and paneer. It was awesome and out of the world.

My mother used to make this in the'70s and even got a prize from Dinamani Kadhir for it. She used to add some boiled vegetables too and a dollop of butter. It is my family favourite.
Super.i am a regular doer of bread upma. I follow my moms recepi. The only difference is that at the end instead of water she used to add buttermilk.it adds a zing to the bread upma💕💕
We make this in Bombay with onion tomatoes bread, salt turmeric powder, red chilli powder, green chillies, kothmali ....it's made for breakfast very regularly at home from many years.....nice twist to the recipe shall def try this too... I love bread dhokla as we call this at home

My dad used to share your awesome philosophy, anything cooked with love is nectar...he never missed wholesome vegetarian spread at home, which is where he always ate...even after he is gone I relish those fond memories of sitting at 7pm over dinner and having a 4 to 5 course meal ending is simple curd rice with pappadam or poriyal ..
