Kurt Nilsen is left handed and plays his guitar upside down as he taught himself that way. He won World Idol in 2004. Pity that Venke Knutson did not acknowledge him in the title of this song. They do compliment each other very well. Yes his teeth are well known to be different but I listen to music with my ears not my eyes. Search for more songs by Kurt Nilsen. He is amazing. Look for the ones with Espin Lind for more fantastic harmonies. Norway has so many good singers.
Michelle Riley sick, 🤮 thay started a media show and a secret media hate against me, the same year! 🤮 But let the artists be artists!!! And ceep ur private life back together!! 😘👌
It helps me remember a simpler laughter I used to share regularly. It's still there waiting. Life is still like a rose and the earth is still magnificent.
He is awesome, he got an angelic voice, powerful, special. She also is awesome. This song is so relaxing, beautiful. I don't know why some singers/artists from USA are so famous, rich when they make "porn music" , videos with naked people, stupid lyrics etc... I hope that one day the truly / real music will be appreciated. Congratulations for this song & video ! :)
Well Chris Brown actually can sing pretty damn well live, but this guy has better tone and whatnot. And all anybody is saying is he got some fucked up teeth, and thats true. And maybe he doesn't care because he isn't in a TMZ mag? Maybe he isn't in the lime light of fucked up corporate America? Ever think about that one?
Definitely the best version of this song on RU-vid, despite having far less views than some mediocre versions. However, if you calculated the ratio of likes to views I do believe this would be #1. Just saying.
I love this song :) I dont care AT ALL about Kurt's teeth, or how Venke looks like. Im here to listening to the song. And they both sound good. Im so in love with Kurt's voice
[Verse 1] Dancing where the stars go blue Dancing where the evening fell Dancing in your wooden shoes In a wedding gown [Verse 2] Dancing out on 7th street Dancing through the underground Dancing little marionette Are you happy now? [Chorus] Where do you go when you're lonely Where do you go when you're blue Where do you go when you're lonely I'll follow you When the stars go blue Stars go blue Stars go blue Stars go blue [Verse 3] Laughing with your pretty mouth Laughing with your broken eyes Laughing with your lover's tongue In a lullaby [Chorus] Where do you go when you're lonely Where do you go when you're blue Where do you go when you're lonely I'll follow you When the stars go blue Stars go blue Stars go blue Stars go blue
Kurt completely wrecks my head with this, and honestly with everything I can find of him. His mimicry of a southern American accent when singing is convincing enough that I could not believe he wasn't from there. His tone is spot on, his ability to carry the tune is beyond stellar. Amazing. Venke is also amazing, and hot. Her eyes are honestly spectacular. Her musical ability is far and away better than most "popular" artists and I just wonder how hard it is for truly talented people from outside the US to break into the market, because I would love to hear both of them make it.
I want him to do a full cover of Hallelujah in Leonard Cohen's version.. he only did part of it with some other singers but he is the bomb. I wish there was a version where he sang the whole song
Because when you are an entertainer (like a singer), better looking means more people enjoy the experience...same as acting or sports. You don't have to be good looking to be a more popular entertainer (singer, dancer, sports, tv person, etc.), but it helps. It is plain human nature.
If im honest, i think this video would have alot more views if it had Kurt Nilsen's name in the title and if you look at the preview picture from the main page Kurt's smiling face isnt the way to sell this video, I only clicked on it because from the preview picture I thought it was a spoof from a mental hospital... But i actually love the song, I was a fan of Tim Mcgraw's version but this one puts it to shame and the chemestry that you see in this video is beautiful
It's surprising that this version is pretty much exactly like the original. There's basically nothing to differentiate them, besides the different singers. And no, my comment wasn't meant to be an attack.
When will haters stop blaming Venke for the title? Artists rarely upload and title the videos on VEVO channels themselfs. Im sure if this was Kurts channel, and Venkes name was left out of the title, noone would raise an eyebrow. Typical hatred on Venke because shes an attractive plus talented woman. Venke is not fake like that, when they promoted this song she always included Kurt in this, gave him alot of cred for this collaboration. Venke is that type of person that tries to make everyone happy (even if its a lost battle,as you cant please them all) Do i still feel like Kurt should have had a featured in the title? Of course i do! But dont blame Venke for this. Just appreciate the collaboration cover for what it is. It wouldnt have been the same without Venke OR Kurt. I honestly think they beat The Corrs and Bono wich i for the longest thought had the best cover of this. Luckily Venke and Kurt came along and wanted to make theyr own version.
Jeg masse glad at jeg live i Norge ! Vi har de beste gruppa her . Altid med beste energie , beste hva jeg kan høre. Kurt - BESTE!!!! Venke so nice!!! :D
@@zippy0099 I noticed i play around equally well with both hands. But to the point. If i play lefthanded i just flip the guitar. So i guess it is more common to flip it than actually getting a leftie guitar. I am crosshanded so my handedness depends on tasks. Some things i am both, some right, some left etc.
I challenge any muso to find a hamony as glorious as that performed by Kurt and Venke at 3:16. A coincidence that 3:16 also says "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting lifeFor God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life".
Some like The Corrs & Bono's version of this song (and it is a very good version, also), but I still say this is the best ever - really great harmony - they just sound good together.
