Venom is timeless They actually sound heavier than the Welcome to Hell days These guys don't get the credit they deserve The true pioneers of Black Metal
Venom is one of the most important and Influential metal bands in history of metal, they created the trash metal in 1981 and 1982 they also created the extreme metal and help extreme trash metal todo grow as a subgenre and create the black metal style and sound helping bands like mayhem, sodom or slayer to make a heavier sound
@@draconis2364 i know you mean nwobhm, but all im trying to say is that venom is making a comeback, we had nwobhm, we also have nwothm, now with this album it may seem theres a third wave of heavy metal, thats what i was wondering.
@@SoundOfWhiteNoise1 just in riffs. Demolition man's vocal sounds like metalcore. Cronos lifts the flag of the true essence of venom always really was: a mortal, ferocious and fucking devastating nuclear supersonic atomic bomb!!!
If “Fallen Angels” and “From The Very Dephts” were going places, “Storm The Gates” has them arriving, alive ´n´kicking ass. This is an armour-plated symphony of matchless brilliance, blood-lust, belligerence battle-thirst. “Bring Out Your Dead” sets the blistering pace and none of the succeeding twelve numbers fall by the wayside of the journey. Great track! Great Video!
Even though the other two original members claim to have written the majority of their early classics, it's the Cronos who kept the Venom flag flying! He's the ultimate charismatic frontman and w/o him, there is no real Venom. It's like Motorhead w/o Lemmy, almost. Tony "the demolition man", while a fine musician, doesn't come close. Sorry, "Venom Inc."
That was a kick-ass video I don't know about that crap about third wave of British metal now they are the kings of black metal and they were the first wave along with Celtic Frost
Love Venom and think Cronos is incredibly underrated yet this song is dog shit. Metal just needs to die at this point as after the Norwegian onslaught of great music nothing has come out fresh and new. Lets once and for all stop talking about satan and death, the most fucking tired topic in metal today.
