I'm really glad itt looks like they improved the way the camera functions for wall running heroes. Admittedly in the last beta, the camera could get a lil funky when trying to wall crawl around.
Within this game its actually not that bad since its not too hard to focus him down especially when you know hes already used his shield cast. The problem comes in when you have a backline that makes them easy targets for venom to isolate so he kind of just wins the 1v1 against them. You also can't just say 1k hp is not ok because in Paladins tanks get that much HP but the damage values are different from overwatch so that logic doesnt apply. Not saying you are using that logic but your comment can only really stem from someone who only knows OW HP values.
He’s so perfect. The only thing I’d say he could possibly need is a passive that makes him immune to Spidey’s spider sense, even though that kight not be very useful!
@yaitskosh you're right, but it's case by case. At least in the alpha, Spider-man was the worst dps and one of the worst characters overall. So having one of the most op characters explicitly anc directly countering him and only him wouldn't be fair.
@@Citrous241 Spider-Man’s not bad he’s hard to play I’ve seen plenty of people be good with him he could use a slight damage buff but not at all the worst character
This guy is gonna be everywhere when the game goes live. That being said, I’m so glad to say there are heroes in every category that I would love to main.
Hey @MarvelRivalsGuides how do you think they should nerf venom if needed. Me personally I would nerf his e ability while giving me him another swing charge just like spider man. That is because venom should be more reliant on his mobility and not just his tanky ness
@@CharaGonzalez-lt7yw so an off tank is someone who doesn’t hold the front line. They can roam around and harass or protect the back line. The main tank holds the front of the line so people don’t just push straight in
How do you get access for steam? I've had the game wishlisted since day 1, put in a request access to the beta DAYS ago and still haven't gotten anything telling me I'm in.
That was for alpha to now, the next beta is most likely gonna be an open one, otherwise doesn’t make sense to do another closed one. They might not even do that and just full release it

Haven’t watched the video, I’ve been playing venom for close to 12 hours now and I gotta say I found a combo that I absolutely adore. Slamming with the piledriver thing, following with goop, if you dive underground with the ult, that goop lingers and there’s a very slim chance they’ll break LOS if you chase your target. Chomp up at them to take a chunk of health and the goop burst will do a very high amount of damage, able to follow up with primary or a melee. Time it right and you stack the damage with goop and ult, making for a slim chance to be healed before you attack. I also believe there’s an animation cancel where you can alternate primary fire with melee in rapid/instant succession, you still attack with all the tendrils for full burst damage and you’re able to add extra damage with the melee. Additionally I might warn you of the teleport bug, where if you swing around sometimes or some places, you sorta just.. kinda.. like.. You swing, you may land, but then you get teleported through the wall, or in a pathway or against a wall in a very glitched, laggy state where you’re suspended in the air against your will, your ability cooldowns are just fine, and you’re able to just magically dive out of that buggy state. I lost a few games where I couldn’t touch point because I guess I let go of swing too fast
I seriously hope they add in a system similar to paladins's character card system where you can buff specific abilities a character has. It would be awesome to have a more mobile venom by decreasing the cooldown on his swing while maybe nerfing the shielding move for example.
I think you are better at playing adam warlock jk lol seriously tho W venom gameplay and I’m hoping for a new stream today so I can see some more gameplay from this game cuz it looks amazing!
Since they show what he can do is pretty easy to see that is not only strong but a fun character too, he is literally the best hero in the game for now
He’s really good probably my favorite character since he reminds me of OW1 doomfist, but some counters to him are Loki with his damage conversion ability and any character with a stun ability
@Marvel Rivals Guides i would love a day 1 or week 1 tier list liek you did in the closed alpha to see where the new characters land and if the patches changed any characters placement on the list
I would definitely not say best character, he has good survivability and good disruption but the damage he does is very very unimpactful with how much healing is in the game. With the right support comp (adam warlock) it's very easy to instantly heal everyone after his initial dive. If a punisher plays with the backline as well it's also pretty over for him. He needs help from his team for sure to make his dives successful. He's so damn fun tho but his damage is a bit lacking for him to be considered the best.
