I liked the last two enough, so hoping this one gives me a good conclusion. Really want Venom or the symbiote involved with Tom Holland's Spidey eventually though!
Right?!! These studios have so much potential and so much money and huge IPs to just have a movie to turn your brain off, Atleast make it decent especially with the characters that they deal with y'all saying shut your brain off is just allowing studios to keep being lazy and put out mid movies like most of the Sony villain movies
You have the right to your own opinion chris much respect Hermano im just a huge venom fan in general so I love anything with venom better then morbius id say
@@solivagen435 you never have to read the comics to like the movies but it really shows in this trilogy that the people who have never read a venom comic are the ones who like this crap so decipher the difference
Considering how they fumbled carnage, not just his bloodlust but the actual relationship between Cletus and the symbiote… I expect no less. Sony literally doesn’t know how to make money
@@RobertK1993 not really they love to ignore fans and make crap. I admit they’ll profit, but the potential they waste costs them more. Even ps5 exclusives are losing their momentum.
@teo_the_riddler because I know how Venom is actually written. I'm not some "fan" who thinks he's some dark conniving villain whose sole existence is based on torturing Spider-man. The character has grown so much since then, it would be like getting mad that Deadpool isn't some psychopathic hit man simply because he debuted as a villain in New Mutants.
@@thememeguy2195 These movies overdo the silliness, Venom works in the comics cause he is singing and swinging and then a panel later he is tearing some guys head of. The antithesis of big hulking scary monster that is also funny is what works. In the movies, he isn't funny, he's just silly all the time (so it gets boring) also, the pg-13 rating really drags the films even lower. I probably will walk out of the film having had an okay time as well but don't fool yourself, I know comics, still doesn't make this a 10/10 franchise
@@thememeguy2195I feel like most people who are fans of Venom enjoy his dark and obsessive aspect from the animated show and games more than they do the comics from the 90s where he was a knock-off one-man Suicide Squad.
Everytime yall watch these Sony movies in theaters you’re basically telling them “hey I don’t mind awful movies, here’s my money anyways, keep giving me bad movies”
@@thealjohnsonshow2188oh he so isn’t. These movies are absolutely mediocre and I am a huge Tom hardy fan. Watching this trash only enables Sony to keep churning more of this shit
@@LethalTalentz brother morbius flopped tremendously and so did madam web, no one cares about kraven like what else do you want people to do?, they even made a meme of both web and morbius, the venom movies are the only profitable outside Spider-Man so I highly disagree with you
No matter what i still excited for Venom 3 and going to watch it 👍. I understand Cris it's not your thing when you're watching Venom movies that's all right, nobody's blaming you bro honestly
For me, who's not watching this movie until next Friday, I was already kind of expecting him to be all harsh on it, but that's just how he is for the venom movies. For me, who loves these venom movies, I'm sure I'm going to have a fun time.
Such a wasted opportunity across the whole trilogy. The perfect actor to play Eddie and they’ve just wasted one of Marvels best anti-hero’s. Imagine what Tom Hardy could have done with a better script, director and vision.
Agreed when he said “it’s funny what do you expect out of a Venom movie…” Venom is supposed to be Villainous and deadly, he’s not like Korg or Human Torch
Whenever I see chis smiling in the thumbnail I know ima hate the movie and now that I saw this thumbnail I know ima love this movie. So hyped for this movie. As someone who reads the comics and watching the spider man shows when I was a child I'm so hyped for this venom movie
You’re literally me when it comes to these films. Still gonna go see it with my dad, since he loves them, but I really still hope I’ll come out of it at least liking it more than Let There Be Carnage
@@IcebergLounge695 It's his opinion lol. I have my opinion on all the Venom movies. As a huge spider man fan, I think the Venom movies kind of suck, bit I still watch them any way 👍🏼 🙂
I feel u chris as a fan of comics I really feel like Sony hasn’t been doing this character justice for years yes he has some funny moments in books but he’s not this damn comedic I know there setting things up with knull but I just have the feeling Sony is going to waste these years of buildup yet again
I'd say it is a psychological horror that reels into the strain of substance abuse and lack of self-reflection. So, it's the opposite of this trilogy, lol.
W take Cris. Everybody knew this film/trilogy is just a letdown anyways I mean cmon three Venom movies and still no Spidey? Just glad that this trilogy finally ended.
@@steveneste810 yeah right, tell that to the Morbius movie setting up spidey at the end and venom licking tom's spidey on the screen of a tv? The ONLY reason it didn't have spidey is Sony's decision buddy.
Venom is supposed to be a serious character and wanting to takeover the world. I haven't liked any of the Venom movies really cause he isn't a stand alone character, he NEEDS a Hero to interrupt his instinctual ways in order to see the "good" side of him
I feel you Chris, this movie was horrible I tried to like it as much as I could but I just couldn’t, I really hope sony just gives up with this horrible universe
literally my only two hopes are 1.) action scenes with the military are dope. Really a fan of the costume design for em. 2.) Knull gets at least some kind of fight haha if those succeed ill be happy
AVI ARAD has ruined so far... * Borderlands * Venom: The Last Dance * Daredevil (2003) * The Punisher (2004) * Elektra (2005) * Fantastic Four (2005) * X-Men: The Last Stand * Spider-Man 3 * Bratz (2007) * Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance * The Amazing Spider-Man 2 * Ghost in the Shell (2017) * Venom: Let There Be Carnage * Uncharted (2022) * Morbius And now he's gonna ruin... * Kraven the Hunter * Legend of Zelda * Naruto As long as Arad lives, there's no hope
I'm feeling exactly like you. I just don't get those movies. Lame, boring, not funny. Such a waste of a great character. Why is Sony doing this? They are basically destroying the Spider-Man universe, without Spider-Man! Just feel sick about these bad movies
Chris I couldn’t agree more with you as a lifelong spider man fan, I just don’t like these Venom movies. Sony just need to throw in the towel and leave the MCU to handle all things Spider-Man.
I absolutely LOVE VENOM! I've collected the origin of venom with spiderman, and I'm looking forward to collecting the venomnibus vol. 1-3. I hope I love this movie. I think I honestly like venom 1 more than let there be carnage, it sets a tone where it feels like it has it's own version of nostalgia. let there be carnage is still good because 1) I'm a venom glazer 2) I've read the 2018 venom comic line along with king in black. which is why I'm so hyped for this movie. if you haven't read king in black, oh boy do I highly recommend you do
Yeah I'm the same. The Venom movies just aren't that good to me. I would rather save my money and watch your spoiler video instead. Thanks for the honest review!
I'm seeing Venom: The Last Dance tomorrow, but I don't understand why they would put a post-credits scene in this movie if this is the last we're going to see of Tom Hardy's Venom-unless Knull is going to go to Earth-616, and in Avengers: Secret Wars, Peter gets the symbiote suit? I've never been a huge fan of these Venom movies for a few reasons. For one, I think having solo Spider-Man villain movies with no Spider-Man is a dumb idea. I want to see these villains fighting their heroes. Imagine an R-rated Spider-Man: Kraven's Last Hunt movie with Tom Holland's Spider-Man and Aaron Taylor-Johnson's Kraven. I think a solo Venom movie could work if Venom showed up in a Spider-Man movie first, and then they did a Venom spin-off. I also don't like how comedic they made Venom. When I think of Venom, I shouldn't be saying to myself, 'You know, he's pretty cool and cute. I just want to hug and hang out with him,' because that's what this Venom is-he's cute and adorable, and that's not how Venom should be. A Venom movie should be dark, R-rated, and have a lot of horror elements. You should be scared of Venom, not want to hang out with him.
Marvel fans: "We want VENOM to be R-Rated." Avi Arad: "VENOM will be PG-13, so everyone can bring their children to watch it. It will be fun for the whole family." Me: "þussy"
I dont disagree with u 3Cfilms, the first film i wasnt a huge huge fan of, it was fun but that was about it. The sequel however i despise because of the way they utilized Carnage, ill let u know what u think of thr 3rd film when i watch it on Friday.
I think the biggest issue with these movies really is that they exist in a vacuum. Venom should be a dark reflection of Spider-Man not just because of his origin, but because without Peter’s altruism as a reference point, Eddie’s moral failings just don’t matter. Anti-heroes can’t exist without heroes to contrast them and demonstrate how they are different.
Hey dude, hold up because you're definitely not a Boring movie fan when it comes to superhero characters like this. 3C Films, you're an awesome movie reviewer, and I always check out your stuff along with a few other guys I like before watching any movie. I usually go for the non-spoiler reviews first, and then after I see the movie, I watch the spoiler ones. Sometimes I agree and sometimes I don't, but I always respect the opinions of all the reviewers I follow. Venom isn't everyone's cup of tea, and that's been clear since the first movie. He's a unique character, and the franchise has its own style. I've always been a fan of Venom and was happy with the first movie. I liked the second one even more, and I'm looking forward to the third. I respect everyone's opinions, and I'm just one of those people who enjoyed the Venom series. Noel is one of my favorite Marvel villains, and I'm super excited to see him in live-action for the first time. Like you mentioned, he's not going to have a big role, and I'm not expecting him to, but since he's been introduced, I think they're setting him up for a future Spider-Man or Avengers movie where he could be the main villain for a few films.
They cast Ifans and didn’t make him a comic accurate Dr. Connors with family? I was secretly hopping there would be a heartfelt moment of him explaining how Spider-Man saved him and now he has a new life, and thus begins to inspire Venom
As someone who doesn't love these films but I've come to except what the films have to offer and I enjoy. I really appreciate Chris admitting that he doesn't feel the same everyone else says because you really don't have to. It's nice to be authentic and express how we feel. :)
The Venom movies are guilty pleasure movies that will be highly remember through out time sure their stories are a mess but the heartwarming moments and eddie and venom duo being funny is all what these movies are about!
I was worried when I saw your face on the thumbnail. I'm not a big Venom fan, I know they're not great movies. I go to $5.75 matinees for each of the VENOM movies, just once, for a dumb good time. Thanks, thumbs up, have a great day.
This one was actually good, and alot of what wasn’t lied to me is just knitpicking. This is better than Thor 4, black widow, Eternals, the marvels, captain marvel, ant man 3
Morbius, Madame Web, Venom, etc. feel like they gave us "safe" versions and cut out a lot of scenes that made them more coherent and tie in with Spider-Man. Remember those Morbius trailers with the Vulture? They gave us different versions of these films.
