Yeah I completely agree. Also disappointed how much of a threat they didnt really display him to be. In the comics Venom and Spider Man had to be like, “cut the bullshit, we gotta come together or we both gonna die.” and I just feel like he was ultimately taken down way too easily

They decided to flip that and turned Carnage from a continuous, massive threat to a one-and-done villain.

If people are watching Venom 2 then they have seen Venom 1 and they are most likely people who know about Venom as a character. It's a parasite that works differently in these movies. It's Venom taking a jab at Carnage and his host. There is no "fun fact". The viewers can see what is happening on their screens... A fun fact is something like Eddie's outfit in the movie referencing Eddie Murphy from Beverly Hills Cop movie because outfits are pretty much identical.
