Nice to see y'all at the St. Augustine park - I've been there many times, but the first time I went I expected to see Gomek (alive) and they told me he had died earlier that year. Tears flowed; I was so disappointed - and of course upset for the croc. I later met a man who used to be Gomek's keeper. He had his arm taken off by a Cuban croc not on display. He reached over into her pen to get a net someone had left there, and she was under the ledge. She snatched the 6'4" man into her enclosure and went into a death roll. Another man - I think the director at the time but I'm not sure - jumped in onto her back so she'd stop, but Les still lost his arm just below the elbow. Your blue snake is gorgeous!

I grew up going to the Alligator Farm in St. Augustine. Being from Orange Park Fl, it was always about 45 mins away

I live in Colorado and our laws for venous snakes are very hard to get a venom room I can only dream of having one of my own one day. Thank you for the education you provide .

It’s so wild to see this now. I grew up going to this park and then moved across the US and haven’t been back since I was a kid. Wish I could go back to the St. Augustine Alligator farm

So a Copper Heads venom is worse than a Blue Insularis. Only reason I say that is because I have heard Tyler talk about it before and he's always said you do not want to get bitten by this snake when he's holding the Blue Insularis.
