@@Yukki._. Xiao chooses his path but he's loyal to liyue including zhongli/morax, like servants to their masters (if they choose to live their own path while still being loyal to their masters). There is no xiao or zhongli voiceline hinting that they are family. Just because zhongli saved xiao doesn't mean nothing, anyone could've saved xiao and he'd still follow them
