Venti has always intrigues me the most out of all the other archons, he and zhongli are the last originals, and ventis strange connection to is tarot has had me captivated, I love lore videos and things like these. And all the same I enjoy doing theorizing myself Genshin is so well written
@@1L1KEP0TAT0ES Well, there's the fact that the twins know of and were both directly assisted by Istaroth to create the Sacred Sakura, and she had the Statue of the Omnipresent God created, which seems to be either Istaroth or one of the Moon Sisters.
@@lnsflare1 According to the wiki, the Statue of the Omnipresent God was brought from somewhere else because it doesn't fit the local Inazuman style of architecture and statue designs. Whether it was brought from Enkanomiya or Khaenri'ah or somewhere else, we don't know yet.
Another thing people gloss over is that Venti is very damn near being a pure elemental being, if he isn't one completely. He was a wisp amongst the thousand winds, born from the branches of time, and a “tiny elemental being” as said by Venti himself. And from what we learn in Zhongli’s 2nd story quests, beings like Azhdaha and presumably Venti are more able to withstand erosion. That has so many heavy implications and could give credence to the theory that Venti is much older than we know. Also, his sleeping so much could be that he has already started to experience erosion, which makes me think he must be REALLY old already. After all, we don't know how long he has existed, only how long he has been archon. On a second note, Venti is also called the “Prodigal” son by the Cecilia flowers, which are associated with Istaroth, and it's very likely he and Istaroth had a falling out at the end. The question is why, and why does it seem like Venti and Istaroth are not actually on opposing sides, given that Venti loves humans and Istaroth presumably helped Makoto plant the Sakura tree, which was meant to buy Ei time to become enlightened and realize the importance of Human will. I don't know. There is some muddled family drama there for sure.
I like that idea but so far erosion is nowhere mentioned anywhere in Venti's lore. Additionally some Mondstadters believe that the anemo archon is in the form of the wind, Venti's name translates to wind, in one of the wind gliders a traveller mentioned "the wind taking the form of a human" and after we recieve our wind glider, when dvalin attacked we heard Venti's voice but he was nowhere to be seen. Its quite possible he literally took the form of the wind there I don't think Venti and Istaroth had a falling out. I more so see it that Venti's entire think is to preserve history forever whether it be changed and altered he wasnts there to be a way to remember heroes of all time as well as events. Meanwhile, Istaroth as the God of time can feeely change and manipulate history as she sees fit, essentially altering and changing history whenever she uses the her powers. As we know, the butterfly effect exists where a change no matter how small can also change the entirety of the present/future
@@user-fc7st1nu9m To be fair we don't know quite a bit about Venti despite being the first limited character in game. We don't know why he sleeps, but I don't think its too far fetched to imagine that it could be to stave away the effects of erosion.

i personally also believe that venti was actually created after the 40 years or exactly after the first war that happened with the dragons and phanes and that they were an idea by istaroth to phanes, like it was a being that everytime people needed them the most they would come back and save them and we have seen this multiple times like in the manga and with the war of decarabian so yeah i believe Venti is way more older and way more powerful than we believe
Maybe Venti is Istaroth in the New Samsara, similar to Nahida and Rukkhadevata. This might be supported by his voice line in the beginning of the video. I could be wrong though.
I'm not sure if this is common knowledge but "Mondstadt" literally translates to "City of the Moon". I never paid attention to it before but now, realizing the significance of the moon sisters...

Hear me out. Our boy is related with the schemeing shade of time which is clearly into something. Here's my pitch: What if Istaroth used the memories of people that worship her for her advantage? As in protecting mondstadt for whatever reason at the cost of being forgotten? It is clear as day that in Genshin, memories equates to power and probably this could be one of the explanation why the bard remains unchallenged.
The fact that Venti ascended to godhood during the archon war is really strange. You're telling me that Celestia, trying to get rid of excesses gods, decided to create a new one instead of letting an already existing god take Mondstadt. It doesn't make sense, unless they had some alternative motivation due to Venti's connection with Istaroth

I think Venti and Istaroth are separate beings. In one of the many books about Mondstadt, it is hinted at that Istaroth and Venti were indeed worshipped together, but then they had a falling out. We don’t know exactly what they were fighting about, but then Venti blasted Istaroth’s temple out into the ocean, and we can actually go to the temple which is beyond Starsnatch Cliff. That is also around the time where Mondstadt started forgetting Istaroth.
To quote hunger games as this does fit Venti give what Neuvillette calls him: "Hope. It is the only thing stronger than fear. A little hope is effective. A lot of hope is dangerous." - hunger games.
I’ve always assumed Venti and Istaroth share the same relationship as Egeria and the shade of life. After the hydro dragon’s death the shade of life made Egeria to regulate primordial waters. I’ve always imagined Istaroth created the 1000 wind spirits in order to regulate the winds after they murdered the Anemo dragon (since Dvalin isn’t the original Anemo Dragon)
I subscribe to this theory but I don't know why he did that and if he had consent from her. Hoyo talks about the meaning of "self" in a story quest about Venti specifically.
I think his like Rukhadevata the will/avatar of the Thousands Winds creation of Istaroth who he follows. Like the biblical Holy Spirit (Thousand Winds) & Angel of the Lord (Venti), following the God's (Istaroth) commands.

I thought Venti defeating Decarabian along Andrius sacrifice, thus leaving Venti as undisputed in Mondstadt, meant he won his part in the Archon War before it even started.
The defeat of Decarabian was during the archon war though? The archon war didn’t start 2000 years go. That was only when it ended and when the final seat in Celestia was claimed, if I remember correctly.
Well if Venti was the first to receive a gnosis, he would be the undisputed strongest god because he was the only archon during the archon war. Everyone else was fighting for a gnosis/throne themselves. No one went after him cause he was the strongest god (being he was the only one with a gnosis/throne of authority already)
Also presumably if he ascended 2600 years ago and the archon war ended 2000 years ago, that would mean that he wasn’t the last to claim a seat in Celestia and there was still around a 600 year gap where he was a god during the archon war
I was nodding with you until you said Zhongli ''Conquered'' Liyue, because that was not how the war in Liyue played. Sure, Zhongli was the last standing God of Liyue, but he didn't go after anybody's land... "I wish not for dominion yet I cannot let the common forl suffer". Be it the Gods in Liyue were in good terms like the Gods of Sumeru and didn't resort to attacking each other in order to earn the throne, as Zhongli put it ''Broke the contract'', Liyue would have had many Gods till later, and that was revisited in Chenyu Vale, the Goddess was so power hungry that in view of her incapacity to overpower Rex Lapis in order to claim the throne, she resoted to bring doom on her own people. Deshret in the same title overpowered Remus and allied with Rukkahdevatha and the Goddess of Flowers, be it Guizhong was still alive, it's pretty obvious she would have become the Geo Archon given her much greater proximity to humanity despite being much less powerful than Rex Lapis. Apart from that detail, great video nonetheless.

I'm very happy I share same birthday aa Venti. He's very important to the story given who he is and who his mother is. His lore is mysterious and fascinating and I love his bubbly personality. But that smile and laughter hides a lot of pain and sadness.
Same here. He was my first ever character in Genshin (got him even before Noelle on my 1st 10 pull) and it felt like something special when I found out we also shared the same birthday. To this day, still one of my favorites- if not my favorite- Genshin character

Honestly, the one who we see or we know as the weakest may be the strongest compare to other archons. Because there's still alot of things that Venti is hiding from all of us.
The lady who beat Venti outside the church was from Monstadt. When the war broke out long time ago, Monstadt was almost destroyed and all of her lovers died. But she found that the anemo god did not come out to protect his people at that time. Lady held a grudge against Venti, and Venti felt guilty for her, so Venti did not retaliate and just let her took away his genosis at that time

Dvali: yeah, no dragon fighting was done that even one of them ended up corrupted by the blood of the other Signora: yeah, the absent god wasn't protecting its people and my lover died in no attack because NO ONE messed with monstad during the cataclism
With the possible the connection to celestia I watched a theory video a while ago that talked about the writing around the Barbatos statue, they believed that the writing said "The gateway to Celestia" but mirrored, so that might be something although I can't remember which video it was now.
Also I’m not saying this contributes to his power because I don’t know/think it technically counts as ‚faith’, but don’t you also need the anemo archons blessing to be able to use a wind glider?
seems at Natland the dead will remain stuck at the Abyss, worshipping Venti is good because the Thousand Winds will carry their soul safely away from the Abyss to reincarnate or ascend, and continue the cycle of life & death.
I think this how Venti was born: Venti has similarities to Egeria, Rukhadevata & Nahida: Being Istaroth like her Co- Shade created someone as replacement to the Dragon Sovereign, which is the Thousand Wind to safely carry the souls of the dead away from the Abyss (seems the dead in Natland were stuck at the Abyss) either reincarnate or ascend, also act as her eyes & arms to observe & influence Teyvat, until the Thousands Winds gain a will/avatar of it's own which is Venti, thou his weak, he learns & grows from thousands of years following Istaroth seeing the lives of the people & God alike suffering finally made him manifest himself with the gunhildr clan (thou he probably manifest already from Khanreah Blood Moon Dynasty), so on later rebel to her, branded as the "prodigal son" Venti is as old as Egeria & has potential powerful abilities like Rukhadevata, and potential destructive power like Ei
*Sumeru & Fontaine spoilers + minor Inazuma ones* Istaroth was forgotten by the people of Mondstadt, even tho she was once worshipped there alonside with Venti, which means her disappearence was a long time ago. However, we know she was at least present during the cataclysm since she helped Makoto save Inazuma. What if she knows something big and went off radar to do something about it leaving Venti to watch the situation and wait? Kinda like Rhukkedevata and Focalors did with Nahida and Furina, leaving a succesor to take their place in order to execute a big move? It's just a theory/speculation, I really can't wait for hoyo to drop more Istaroth bread crumbs
If both him and paimon are linked to time then that would probably explain the beef between those two idk about you but paimon and venti share a lot of similarities
Venti definitely knows more the he lets on but is also good at misdirecting people so it's possible he just tricked the gods from other regions into believing Monstadt is the domain of Istarosh. but I do definitely believe there is more to Venti then he or the game lets on though.
On the floor right next to Venti’s statue in Mondstadt city there is some strange looking text at first sight, it’s written in backwards and upside down but it says: The Gateway of Celestia
Dont forget that mondstads had a lot of outcasts who somehow all decided to stay there. There is also Ventis lute which puts people in mondstadt into a sort of mindcontrolled inner peace
About Venti being the unchallenged archon of Mondstadt, I think we all know the reason, and it was even shown several times in this video. It's the anemo dragon, Dvalin. We don't know if he is a reincarnation of a dragon sovereign like Neuvillette, or even a dragon sovereign from ancient times, like Apep, but he is certainly a mighty enough dragon to give gods a pause.

But we know this from the beginning. He/she is the god of freedom and tales. He is not bound by truth. Since, we've learned that tales are the only thing free from the Tyranny of fate. The Geo archon also confirms that Venti is full of it.
I think there is something going on with the elements. I don't think Electro is natural to Theyvat Ei says that it is the element that is closest to the Heavenly Principles because it represents Eternity. I kind of think that Hydro is not natural either, Anemo seems to be connected to time and Istaroth and Geo to the art of Khemia seems to be the only two elements that existed prior to everything because Geo is similar to chalk the building stone of everything living. Now I think Dendro comes from the birth of Irminsul since Nahida counts as a branch of Irminsul but not part of the natural order. I think Khvarena is the real Dendro and it existed before "Dendro" this element is guarded by the Pari.
I also thought about this due to the obvious purple electro when blue lightning and even electro charge is blue lightning. Dendro not being natural is more obvious when every dendro character doesn't have plants, including nahida, and use technology Only dendro traveler who copies the dragons and tighnari I guess.... have actual plants. But my considerations include geo too. Because not a single geo character can make spikes or stuff that pop out from the ground except geo traveler burst and zhongli's pillar, and by then, zhongli summons a meteor, from the sky, and geo traveler skill is dropping a boulder
@@Evitzeoshowerthoughts Interesting Azdaha could make spikes you are aware of the theory that the traveller copies the abilities of the sovereigns and not the archons? It's just Zhongli says that the mountains can forget too. In one instance he says that he is looking for a way to better record time, and I think all the archons are trying to do this. I think what Zhongli refers to as erosion is the Heavenly Principles removing the memories and after that happens people no longer remember who you are, and you don't either. It's kind of a cruel fate. This is not something Theyvat can fight take Rukkhadevata for instance, they have no idea she ever existed.
Although Dendro does seem somehow dfferent from the other elements the only problem with the theory about the elements is that the 7 elemental sovereigns have been around since way before the primordial one arrived and changed everything, Apep the dendro sovereign might even be the oldest living dragon in Teyvat considering they didn't die during the war and possibly might even be older then Irminsul. Also I don't know if it's true but it's said that all life in Teyvat originated from the primordial sea, although I do think that it is weird that the electro symbol doesn't actually have anything to do with lightning.
@@Loopy2000 The primordial sea is not Hydro. The electro dragon is missing suggesting it was something else first. Apep is frustrated with Buer suggesting that she is learning to slow. Apep is probably more related to Khvarena than Dendro. It's a bit complicated there, one abyss quest clearly shows that Khvarena trumps Abyssal power. Since Apep is extremely resistant to abyssal power it's very likely she commands this element just like Neuvilette can command the primordial sea. These beings seems extremely powerful in Genshin I have a hard time understanding how they lost the war, it must be connected to the traveller somehow. She was lured into giving up their power somehow, because her goal is to destroy the thrones now that hold their authority and she says that she will never stop trying. I dont know exactly how this happen all I know is Lumine found out on her journey a lot more than we have, and she seems to basically know the truth of the world. This is connected to Dainsleif somehow. It's an open ended question if the Sinners are her allies or if she is using them to further her goal I kind of lean towards the former. Also it's very likely the dragons don't know about the travellers participation because the anger is pointed towards Buer Nahida, not the traveller, no sovereign has remarked on the traveller at all in fact. It's very likely both Neuvilette and Apep would have attacked us if they knew. Somehow the sibling had access to Nibelungs pearl, and through that Celestia stole all of the dragons original power. No idea how they did this or were the Gnosis comes into play. It's said to hold immense high amounts of elemental energy which kind of suggests that the power is stored there. A note there dragon treasures are said to be cursed with bad luck, I am very drawn to the idea that Descenders and dragons are related, possibly even the same being. That would make the third descender a dragon and it would explain why people have bad luck when they are around it. Bennett is said to be related to Natlan, and he has bad luck all the time, and that nation is the dragons original home world. Don't know what Tsaritsa is going to use them for I don't think she can handle that amount of concentration but she seems batshit mad in her only voiceline so who knows. It is possible that she aims to make the traveller into a Gnosis
About Zhongli, how did you know that Chenyu Vale is the last region he conquered? I haven't read any text about this yet so if you can kindly inform me. Also the word "conquered" in here isn't right as the Jade Sacrificial catalyst only mentions about him assumed control of the land after the previous god (the Chenyu God) perished in foreign land, implied they fleed from Liyue after that failing attempt to flood Bishui River. No conquering happened. Also Morax "conquered gods and bloodied battlefield" in order to earn gnosis? Zhongli's demo is the highest viewed video from Genshin official channel with him loudly saying, "I wish not for dominion, yet I can't let the common folk suffers" He never wants that gnosis, Bro. He had no desire to be a ruler yet he had to fight to protect his people. Take Osial or the Chenyu God for example, there aren't any in-game record showing that Morax did anything first to the them or their region yet they had a beef with him, even the Chenyu God was consumed by fear of Morax's power they did something foolish and cowardly by flooding Bishui River to threaten his people. You want to point out how special Venti is by making him earn the gnosis by mere existing when the other two gods wanted nothing with it, which is fair. But making Zhongli the contradiction for that boost because according to you he had to "earn" the gnosis the hard way. No He didn't want it but still earned it in order to protect his people. Bro you have to know that zongli or rather morax wasn't always like this he became humble after the death of god of dust.and every god was fighting for that power whether thay want to or not.if thay refused to fight celestia will punish them just like thay did to orobasy. Some are acception like egiria rukhadivata ( dashrat) but not morax.
The reason no other gods went to monstadt to fight was was because it was a barren land of ice and snow it was useless land uo until venti terrform the land

his origins as a wind spirit was probably hinted at the Sumeru Glider lore. one of the stories said that there was an outcast wind spirit up in the heavens. the wind spirit yearned to protect the things it loves but it has no power to unleash hurricanes and storms unlike the other wind spirits.
Also did you notice that Venti gave dvalin his sovereignty back? That scene of him setting dvalin free happens before Signora stole the gnosis from Venti, so Venti gave an empty gnosis to people that can't use it , my theory is that the archons are handing over empty gnoses which would counter the cryo archons plans 🤷♂️ idk what do you think?

Well… In the terms of defending Mondstat Venti was buddies / friends with a Dragon. While all the others had to fight other gods for the gnosis. Venti got the Gnosis and befriended a Dragon. Going up against not just a archon but a dragon sovereign at the same time.

Well I don't think ANY of the Archons are attacked after they get the Gnosis, so if Venti doesn't have to fight that makes sense to me. To fight in that arena a god would have to have turned up before Decarabian and Andrius' stand off. So it might be that they didn't want to have to fight Decarabian or Andrius. Or again, maybe a bunch of gods did decide to contest for Mondstadt and they all got killed by Decarabian or Andrius. Another possibility is that after Liyue gets it's Archon in 3000 it makes it hard for any belligerent gods such as Orobashi to cross through Liyue into Mondstadt because they'd have to risk fighting Morax plus a gnosis plus Celestia. Finally it's possible that Mondstadt was just a pretty unpleasant place 3000+ years ago and nobody wanted it. Or any combination of all of these. Maybe there were few gods interested in Mondstadt, it was harder to get to and only a few gods kicked out of Snezhnaya after losing there, came to Mondstadt and they were no match for Decarabian or Andrius. But mostly with all of the Archon war I think the answer is that were only told about 10% of the fighting that went on, and we should imagine a list of minor gods who were defeated in Mondstadt just as in other nations. We're just not told about almost all of them.
It's highly unlikely that any god died in monstate other then decarebian because there is no god's remain to clean like in lyue or Inazuma. second venti become archon before morax as the war ended in monstate 2500 years ago and the war ended in lyue 2000 years ago

I think it's all 3. Mondstadt used to just be ice and snow until venti reshaped the lands and added monsoons to permanently alter the weather. Also maybe having morax beside him is a blessing since he fights everything in the way lol. Also minor gods huh.. Most of them got so minor that some of them are still alive.. Changsheng (snake on baizhu) and Guoba.. Also I'll add that Most Gods have chosen their spots and would defend their spot.. Since most of the Gods have their own people worshipping them.. It'll be hard to move an entire country big or small during the archon war afterall.
No the most importing archon is Ei she is the god of Eternity she cannot die she can control the time she cannot be deleted from ermnsas so because she is eternal isn't that so obvious all of you don't you understand and this is why there's a big statue in her country like literally she have her own domain she teleport you in where the time stops and when you go to fight Raiden in the other domainthe time there is different in teyvat have past 5 minutes but in that domain have past hundred of years
The big statue in her nation may be istaroth.. also sure ei might be important but you can’t deny that venti is extremely suspicious and likely will be important later on
