Understanding the circulation of cerebrospinal fluid in the brain shouldn't be difficult. Here I'll use MRI imaging to help you to easily identify the CSF-containing ventricles and subarachnoid cisterns in the brain.

Not sure if the question banks are for you?
If you're here, you're likely studying for a radiology physics exam. I've spent the last few months collating past papers from multiple different countries selecting the most commonly asked questions. You'll be surprised how often questions repeat themselves!
The types of questions asked in FRCR, RANZCR AIT, ARRT, FC Rad Diag (SA), ABR qualifying Core Physics and MICR part 1 are surprisingly similar and the key concepts remain the same throughout. I've taken the most high-yield questions and answered them in video format so that I can take you through why certain answers are correct and others are not.
Happy studying,
Michael

This video is excellent for exploring the brain with MRI images. I am a biomedical engineer and PhD student in AI/Data Science. I am currently doing a simulation of cerebral blood flow with computational fluid dynamics. This video is excellent for reviewing the anatomy. I highly recommend it for graduate students in engineering who want to explore neuroanatomy for CFD.

great job bro!! , got a q, what is a T1 weighted scan?
@radiologytutorials
@radiologytutorials 3 месяца назад
Thank you. T1 weighting refers to the technique used to acquire the MRI. The timing of what we call the 'pulse sequence' determines which tissues will appear bright and which will appear dark. If you're interested I have an entire MRI physics module on my channel which goes into depth explaining the concepts of signal localisation, image weighting, pulse sequences and more

@radiologytutorials
@radiologytutorials Год назад
Cheers Masnla! The t-shirt is from H&M (about 4 years old though) so not sure if there's a similar one around now. It is one of my favourites though - so comfy! Uniqlo have a great long sleeve but no pocket. I'll wear that one in the shoulder MRI vid so you can check it out 😅😂
@masnla
@masnla Год назад
@@radiologytutorials Thank you :) Looks like the perfect WFH shirt, but alas, the H&M site no longer has any similar shirt. I don't read MSK MRI but will be watching your vid to see the Uniqlo one😃. Your videos are so clear and the perfect length to get a quick review-I have learned and brushed up on so much. Thank you so much for taking the time to make them.🙏🙏
