Waooow ! Sounds incredible. Never had that sound out my big sky. Insane good player here , Nice tele too what model is it ? US 50th anniversary ? Perfect
Does this pedal work in a way that allows sending it two separate signals and reverberating them also separately in stereo? Like, one signal goes into the left input and then to one algorithm and another signal goes into the right input and goes to another algorithm. Both algorithms continue working in stereo.
Yes you can set up the two DSPs to work independently with one input and one output each. The routing options are unparalleled with this pedal it seems. (although you can run the two DSPs in parallel! Ha ha bad joke)
@@seansalo5117 thanks for responding. I have owned effects units before that allowed two reverbs running parallel in stereo. That is, you would send mono signals at each input and both reverbs would process and output in stereo. This pedal lacks that. But then, it's mainly for guitar players and having two mono reverbs out of two cabinets could definitely be useful, especially during recordings. I play electronics and have found my reverb in the modular world: the Erbe-Verb by Make Noise. It's a modeless reverb. No hall, plate, spring, room, etc, but almost all of these as well as really weird reverbs can be achieved with it.
@@KorhanErel oh! I missed what you were saying. Indeed the outputs will only be mono if you are using two independent input signals. 2 mono channels that together can produce a stereo field.
Word in the guitar nerd circles is the Ventris is the total king of super verb pedals. There's definitely a lot more variation in the Ventris. I am a huge Strymon fan, and I sometimes wonder if I could get by with a Big Sky or even better the smaller Blue Sky, but I just don't feel there's any touching what the Ventris can do. I'd definitely feel regret if I ever flipped the Ventris. It's basically on Strymon to try to top this, and so far, they have not.
Nice but this is the arena reverb, why not some grinding power chords through a superstrat and jcm800? Can't find a review of this pedal yet that does rock. Must be 2018...
Because this is a review of Ventris Dual Reverb - not a distortion pedal. Adding distortion or other pedals takes away from the tonal qualities of any pedal.
