It very well could have been!! I should check back through the footage, I'm so bad at telling those convoys apart from just regular static destroyed vehicles unless I see the military zombies around 🤣
hahahah 6:11 I love when u played dumb loool my favorite moment of this video!! It's so cool to see all the nice and rare gears too. Another amazing content 😻Richtig gutes Gameplay ! Das Video ist sehr geil geschnitten. W content altijd 😎
(Patch 1.25 ) : The only suit part i was missing were the nbc gloves. I substituted them with medical gloves, which reduce the chance of cuts by 50% compared to standard or no gloves. It took me about 10 minutes for Riffy the first time after watching a speedrun once. Took me about 3 whole bandages for cuts throughout , got the sickness after about 5min, healed with two blood bags afterwards, and i was fine. Mind you, i took the first blood bag in with me, and it maybe got poisoned by being exposed to the gas. Only the second bag which i kept outside nearby healed me in seconds - if that healing timer was started with the first bag or if it really was contaminated, i have to invest further.
Yea, going in the gas with a missing piece is possible but requires a lot of bandages and such, it's nice to have as a last resort though! I did a similar thing with the surgical gloves, but I had the POX cure on hand 👍
@@scholarcormier and if you collect charcoal tablets, you can refill your spare filter, allowing for a very long time in the gas zone. I found nato and soviet night scopes, m4 and nato and soviet suppressor. there was also a vsd, but I didn't have space for it, I wish I had taken it now.
Man quick question. I can’t seem to find this answer anywhere - do you ever have to allow for bullet drop when shooting from a distance? If so, how do you estimate it?
There is bullet drop! If you ever run across a rangefinder in game, you can use that to find the distance and then you can zero your weapons appropriately! 👍
Good to see some vanilla content. But maybe better to play on a vanilla community server so you don't die to hackers again. Nice adventure with a very sad ending.
Ya, after this video, I went back to community vanilla servers for a while and fared much better haha 😁 I am thinking of trying out official again when the new update comes out, though! Thanks for checking out the video!
Plate carriers provide great damage reduction, I think it's something like 70%, which helps prevent you from dying in one shot! The trade off is that you do gain a lot of weight. Usually I prefer having the damage reduction because it has a chance to save my life!
@@scholarcormier ok, first order of business when I log in is to get some armor back! I just ditched my plate carrier for a vest - got tired of only being able to sprint short distances!
@@davidbieloh1382 Yeah the not being able to sprint is brutal but my plate carrier has saved me twice in my current run. I'm on an experimental server currently which fluctuates between like 2-20 people depending on time of day. The first time I believe it saved me I had stepped on a landmine because I rounded a corner and didn't see it till I was already on top of it. Broke my leg, knocked me out and caused some bleeding but I was able to hobble away in one piece once I made a splint. Second time I rounded a corner and came face to face with an SKS. I tried ducking out of the line of fire and then when he pursued I opened fire with a Bizon on full auto, got shot and blacked out. Came to with him standing over me frantically trying to stop the bleeding from my volley as a plate carrier wearing zombie rushed him. Once I regained control I then pulled out my own SKS and unloaded the entire clip into his chest and then bolted for a nearby shed where I closed myself in until I could stabalize my own condition before killing the zombie and looting him to replenish some of my own supplies. My health was very much in the red so it was definitely a close call but my plate carrier went from worn to damaged so I know that's where he hit me and considering how close to death I was, had I not been wearing it I would certainly have died. Been going about 68 hours and 40 minutes on this current run. over 1,000 zombies killed, 1 player killed and like a dozen wolves killed. I generally tend to avoid firefights with other survivors and only engage those that telegraph hostile intent or open fire. Though I will also open fire on those who have "The Giggles", something about being an item on the lunch menu lowers my trust in a person by a fair bit.
I try first person and I can never get used to it. Third person seems so much more functional. Should I abandon this idea and just force myself to get used to first person?
Hmm, I think it's just personal preference! I prefer 1st person because it makes PvP more of an even playing field, but if you prefer the play style of 3rd person, I think playing on those servers is the way to go!
I've been having a hard time getting a decent run on official, all my runs in the past 2-3 weeks have ended like this one 😭 I'm already working on the editing for the next video, though!! Thanks for waiting!! 😁
Yea 😥, I've been trying to play on official for the past few weeks, but I've run into quite a few weird deaths, so I might go back to vanilla community servers for a while
