Hi, I have purchased KIA Seltos HTK IMT Diesel, it was delivered 3 weeks back. Existing IMT Users, Anyone faced issues with creep/crawl functionality in first gear in IMT gearbox, when I am stuck at traffic signals, and roads has small slopes like 5 degrees or 10 degrees, then in first gear, the creep/crawl functionality does not work as expected, my car rolls backwards slightly and I have to manually press accelerator ASAP to avoid further rollback. On fully plain road, creep/crawl in first gear works without rollback, but feels underpowered. But if there is very very small slope like 5 to 10 degrees , crawl does not work as expected. Same thing happens for reverse gear, if there is 5-10 degrees slope, car moves forward, and i have to press accelerator ASAP to avoid movement ahead. FYI , in my opinion this is not Hill assist issue, hill assist feature working fine on steep slopes in hilly roads, mall ramps. The car holds for 2-3 seconds and enough time to move ahead without rollback.
I purchased Venue S(o) last month. Chose it over Sonet as practical rear seat space of venue is much better and suspension of Venue is less stiff. Sonet gets luxuries like sunroof and pushbutton start but misses out on basic necessities like led headlights, rear wipers. Need to weigh your priorities and decide.
Venue doesn't have electric folding orvms as of now, you can only adjust. E-folding ORVMd & auto ac would have made it a perfect package for the money...

Nope, in terms of drivability, Venue is a much better choice, it has better functional features like Projector headlamps, rare wiper and washer, cornering lamps, cruise control, etc which are all missing in Sonet. However if you prefer luxurious feature more rather than functional, Sonet has sunroof, auto ac and auto folding orvm which are all missing from Venue. I was opting for Sonet initially but only after buying Venue realized how much the functional features matter over the luxurious ones. So Venue any day if the choice is in between the variants in this video.

Thanks for the video. 50k difference is marginal and can be forgiven given the safety, build quality, and service network of hyundai. So one should go for hyundai, in my opinion.
Please do correction : I have Sonet HTK plus IMT dec 2022 model and it do come with Front Armrest. Please do the correction. Also it has google voice assistant after we connect it with Android Autoplay.

Would take venue because in rear seats 3 people can easily sit as compared to sonet in sonet only 2 people can sit behind comfortably whereas in venue 3 people can easily sit
I am planning to buy Hyundai car and I have confusion between exter top model which is 10.8 Lk on road with very good features and venue s optional turbo which is 12.4 Lk on road with good engine and space. Any suggestions?
Venue diesel मे iMT गिअर बॉक्स नही हैं .KIA की डीजल सोनेट मे आता हैं. मगर लूक वाईस सोनेट इतनी कूच खास नही हैं Venue के सामने.Venue डीजल मे iMT देना चाहिए
Kia Sonet not tested by GNCAP. Please correct it. Also Australia NCAP rating of venue should not be used for Indian build cars. Which gives a false sense of Rating. Please correct it.
@Lashiv b i agree with you we should wait till official BharatNCAP comes. But till then GNCAP is the only private testing agency that tests Indian build cars. Australia NCAP never tests Indian build cars nor venue tested is an indian build car. So technically we should not use it against Indian cars. There are many people who believes in GNCAP ratings. Many of them cannot differentiate between all these NCAP ratings. NOTE: I myself own a KIA sonet.
Bullshit….dont go for the reviews….claimed fuel efficiency of venue 18.2 is the biggest joke of the year…am owning venue turbo imt ….am getting mileage around 12-13 in highways and city around 11 with heavy traffic 10…if u dont use ac then u may get 14-15 mileage 😂…this car has very bad quality speakers with NVH +…turbo lag noticeable in hilly areas..better go for dct than imt….only good thing about this car is handling,suspension ….sonet travel comfort may b less but fuel efficiency better than venue…driving position better….if u r running more than 1400km / month sonet wud b a better option…in test drive they given me the old model ….thought new model vl b better….venue before facelift is a better vehicle even though looks not appealing has a better quality…..no autofold available…made a big mistake n chosing cars
