After a few weeks off, I'm getting back into a rhythm with my injury. My good friend Kerrie Brooks (physical therapist) is always there for me when I have a serious injury, she has been such a key figure in my life and I appreciate all she does for me. Hopefully this video will inspire you to never give up!
In this video, I'm sharing my injury and my progress so far! I'm recovering from my surgery and my rehabilitation is going well. I'll be back on the tennis court in a few months and I can't wait to compete again. Stay tuned for more tennis updates!

Venus is the epitome of never giving up and it gives me so much life. What a bonus for tennis that Venus Williams is still playing on tour in 2023. 30th season on tour❤….so amazing! She inspired me as a child and still doing it. My favorite athlete of all time. ❤ the fact she is doing this intense PT therapy shows me she still has big plans for 2🎾23!!! She had Zhu Lin on the ropes who is doing so well on tour now (and so is her 1st round opponent )We love You Venus best of luck❤

I am truly sadden your injured right now torn hamstrings sounds extremely painful! I am still recovering from Stress fracture in my right tibia bone it's been over a year and I am just trying to heal up so I can work again soon hopefully . I am stay at home mom looking for hope and sharing strength for all the best for you and yours! God bless and heal up you are a dream to me!

I'm currently not able to play for a month. My physio said I'm the first person she's seen with tennis elbow who plays tennis. How weird. I'm counting down the days until I can hit balls again. Good luck with the recovery Venus. Not being able to play tennis is the worst.

It hits hard being an athlete. I know the feeling I was an athlete my entire life and then a caregiver for my grandma and now my 3 kids they are like triplets but are now teens so I was planning on working again in the hospital but have to put that off until I am healed. This too shall pass and you will feel good again. I am a big girl at 235 lbs and I think this has brought on my healing troubles and stubbornness of staying of my feet. It's hard to comprehend that I am unable to walk and then I just want to feel normal. All the best to you I know what a struggle it can be to hurry up and heal so you can feel normal again. All the best I know you can do it and if it helps to know others are also pull8ng for you now and always.! Love you girl!

Good Luck Venus! Physical Therapy is hard, but it’s definitely worth it in the end! I have double knee implants so I know what you are going through. I didn’t realize that I had done serious damage to myself in the beginning either.
