I was at the brink of suicide when I read Serena Williams book Queen of the court. The part that really lifted up my spirit is when she told her stories of how and what really happen after her 05 Aussie open victory until 07 Aussie open victory. Her strength amazed me and I learnt a lesson from her. We all have our ups and downs, but if we just hang on, those bad days will eventually goes by. I have to thank her for lifting up my spirit again.Would love to meet her one day if I could.
This award was a long time coming I’m so glad they did this during her lifetime a lot of times they wait until someone passes away and then they don’t know they were honored if anyone deserved it she did I’m so happy for her

I loved the presentation. Venus is such an inspiration and so cute, and humble, and friendly and lovable! I really loved her speech. So natural, no scripts; just feelings and truth from her heart! I also loved her sister's intervention. You could see there an family inside joke! that was great!
