Music dont have religion?? Then what is shit purpose of this comment....

I have thought long and hard about whether your comment deserves a reply. For one, it is nonsense. The notion that a religious persuasion can lay an ownership claim to an entire genre of music is so mind-bogglingly dumb that it defies even the slightest semblance of rational argument. Secondly, I wondered whether someone who didn't give one thought to the fact that this is a video of little children before spewing their bile deserved any attention. This platform might be virtual but this is a religious channel and the video above is shot in a place of worship. A person raised with the most basic decency would have probably deferred to the sanctity, even if only virtual, of the setting. After close to a year now though, I have changed my mind. It looks like you came back and edited your comment. I have nothing much to ask you. I just want to know why we use violins in Carnatic music. Aren't they a "Western" or "Christian" musical instrument?

@@wneo7 Yes 'Aren't they a "Western" or "Christian" musical instrument' . Mandolin Srinivas is another example. Sanathana dharma accepts everything. 1200 years of colonization! Some people forgot their roots! But, not all sanathanis. So, NO boundaries for Sanathana Dharma. Because there is no 'ONE GOD' concept. For sanathana dharma 'God is everywhere'. There is nothing wrong if people believe (atleast respect) in Sanathana dharma and Sama gana priya. Do these teachers who taught these children believe it ? I dont see any songs on any other devathas in this channel or I dont even see any Sanathana Dharma symbols like 'bottu' or vibudhi. Its just Christianizing carnatic music which comes from Samavedam. Carnatic music that comes from Ammavaru is okay, but not symbols ? Who is accepting who? BTW I am not at all talking about the children. I will never talk. They are Bhagavad swaroopas. I am clearly talking about the teachers who taught these children.

@@0723SaraCh I will ignore the political talking points and stick to the crux of the conversation. If the violin and other instruments can be removed from their historical, cultural and, for argument's sake, religious contexts, and adapted for use in Carnatic music, the reverse can happen as well. I rest my case. The language Tamil itself has a religious origin story. Would you next claim that other religious faiths shouldn't use the language too? As for your comment about "Christianizing carnatic music", what if the genre was used for secular (meaning, non-religious) songs? Would you complain about "secularising Carnatic music"? If no, then your problem is with the religion. Nothing to do with music. Your comment has the tag "edited" on it. It is added by RU-vid when a comment is edited. That prompted my statement. Yes, my comment is edited too. I edited it for grammar and clarity immediately after writing it. Ignore my statement if yours was edited immediately as well. I didn't recall seeing the tag before.
