Verbal reasoning tests assess your ability to understand and comprehend written passages. They are designed to measure your verbal comprehension, reasoning and logic, all through your understanding of language.
Some people when reading a statement jump to conclusions or misinterpret information - this is what the test will be able to find out about you.

Please answer my questions by April 11, 2021. I have some questions: 1. How long would a passage usually be in a test for 5th Grade? 2. For the questions, can there be more than 1 answer? 3. How long does it usually take to finish a test that has 30 questions?

Hello Grace, 1. From the sound of your first question, it sounds to me as if you are talking about verbal reasoning questions in school? If so, that will be the 11+ tests and these tutorial videos will not be entirely applicable to those tests. Our psychometric tests are for graduate or above level. Accordingly, the answers to your other questions are as follows with regards to the recruitment standard. 2. Only if explicitly stated in the question. For example: 'Which TWO of the following... etc etc?' - then you must give two answers. This is uncommon, but can occur. 3. The typical standard is roughly 20 minutes. This of course can vary with the STYLE of verbal reasoning that you are taking.

what does for-profit means? is it only for profit?
@bakedtarts
@bakedtarts 3 года назад
Yes. That is the definition. But this qns twisted it up. Because it is not common for "for-profit' to be together with 'unions'. Since unions are about fighting for the rights of those being exploited. For-profit sounds like there is a surplus which is not what unions - who are fighting for fair practices, are meant to do.

what age level should find this not to easy and not to hard
@AssessmentDayLtd
@AssessmentDayLtd 4 года назад
Difficult to say. Age is not necessarily a reliable measure of one's cognitive ability. Ultimately, it is there aptitude with the material that will determine whether someone will find it not too easy or not too hard. But typically speaking, I would say graduate age level is a good ballpark for this kind of question. Kind regards, Ben

technically from a gramatical stand point in the first question the for profit basis refers to the bank and so therefore a Bsank does not operate on a for profit basis whilst however they do allow their clients to do so. But hte question asks where a bank does. This is why I hate Verbal reasoning they cater to thick people.

This is exactly i came here to the youtube video to read whether any one has expressed that the answer was wrong ! Seems am not alone
@bakedtarts
@bakedtarts 4 года назад
@@ganeshpandian4800 I thought the answer was wrong at first, but i thought about it again. 'For-profit' means organizations who operate to make profit for their employees and people who run them. In this case, mutual bank establishments, also called Credit Unions, are actually being run by union members , hence if they advocate for profits for the benefit of union members, they are considered 'for-profit' because union members = the Credit Union organization themselves. I think we were all confused because traditionally the term Union is usually NOT synonymous with 'for-profit'. We usually think of Unions as fighting for the working class against the tyranny of large 'for-profit' corporations. This Qns is flawed!

@@bakedtarts This is why I hate these sorts of questions. They are so often unclear and could be argued to be two answers.

@@JustaQuad Verbal reasoning qns are just a bunch of lengthy paragraph with big words meant to confuse people under the guise of testing "academic competency". When in actual fact, isn't it better for research papers to be clear and concise, instead of trying to sound bombastic but without actual substance!
