I used to play Ruby while my gf played Sapphire and we'd have a competition of who gets to beat the game first but I always slowed down a bit so that I know we will finish the game at the same time. We even played the remakes but this time on emulators since laptops were more practical in college than a 3DS and boy did that really bring so much nostalgia to us. The only person that played my copy of sapphire more than I did was my grandmother. She passed away back in 2017, and while the pain has gotten better, for some reason this is the song that brings back all the memories. It's crazy how things work.

Back when it was simpler times, I remember using Blaziken, Banette, Flygon, Metagross, Tropius (My contest Pokemon) and Walrein on my Sapphire, I been playing it for so long on that saved file but it's too bad I lost the game.

This ost..., of all the Pokémon games, this was one of the ones that marked my life along with the Sevii Islands ost and the red theme song, It reminds me of the time when I played Pokémon Emerald in the emulator on my father's computer back in mid-2011 to 2013, now I'm halfway through high school and I've been going through several moments difficults And my mental health is quite bad with anxiety, fears, and social phobia and whenever I feel sad or something like that I always try to listen to these pokémon songs to calm myself down and forget everything, This will always be my favorite ost of a pokemon town
