@@jhawkmolly Lori had a trial by jury as well she just wasn’t facing the death penalty is why it’s moving faster there are two phases of death penalty cases the guilt or innocence phase then if found guilty the sentencing phase

Chad killed Tammy for so much life insurance money, evaded from so many taxes, and worked all his life just to give every single penny to John Prior 🤦🏻‍♂️and left his own children with absolutely nothing

The sentencing phase will begin in the morning but sentencing itself will not occur tomorrow.

It's because it's a death penalty case. There will basically be another smaller trial on if he should be put to death.

yes because it is the same jury used for sentencing as the one used for verdict.... they don't form a new jury but also don't want to keep the sitting jurors for indetermined time. The jury that deliberated the verdict have already heard all the evidence rather than having to present it all over again to a new jury for them to consider
