I think everyone knows from experience that when the communication environment is too poor, not only sync discrepancies occur but also larger lags, causing characters to warp suddenly or be defeated inexplicably. Even in battles between high-speed connections, minimal sync discrepancies inevitably occur, so it seems we have no choice but to accept getting hit by a Splat Charger through a wall or being splatted by a Blaster we thought we had dodged.
