mmW range has been improving big time . I spoke to an engineer and a market like Dallas range from several nodes is pushing over 1,500 feet. Your twitter video was impressive ...driving on the strip staying connected to mmW for quite some time.

Just so you know at&t and VZ are using 400 MHz of bandwidth not 100 MHz . Theoretical speeds on mmW is 400 Mbps per 100 MHz channels

Damn that's pretty good speeds and we're only in the early stages of 5g. I use AT&T and Verizon. Seems like they're both gonna continue the dominance. Awesome! Thanks for the video.

When you swapped nodes ~9 min on the strip did you keep connected to mm wave or drop to lte then back to mm wave? Great video!

AT&T test. the servers in Cali! R U in Cali or Nevada Verizon test. the servers in Nevada R U in Nevada or California The place almost looks like a ghost town.

@@CarlosSTech Okay Vegas. Carlos any particular reason why the test on AT&T was done thru a server in Las Angeles CA and Verizon test in Las Vegas NV. I've took notice on that when you were running the tests. Would it be fair to say to run the test off the same servers.

It runs automatically it picks the server best for that network unfortunately that’s how ookla works

It works decent maybe they are pushing this hard as they want the mmwave for heavy traffic area and home 5G and then use midband for coverage when they get the C band spectrum

Low band will never push out 5G speeds it's only good for coverage not speed so it's pointless

@@timman3643 true if its only band, but only standalone 5g with all 3 low mid high band with CA will be real 5G with low ping fast speeds, remember today's 5G fake crap is really 90 % lte 10% 5g using no massive mimo, not until all 5G is done right will it work right or even be 5G

Verizon 5G is a joke overall bro. Yea millimeter wave spectrum is going to give you stupid fast speeds. But T-Mobile’s going to be the one that does it right now that the merger with Sprint right. They just uploaded a screenshot of them getting gigabit speeds off the 2.5GHZ mid band spectrum they got from sprint. Now they just need to focus on rolling that out, the rest of the 600MHZ out, and the millimeter wave out and they will be golden
