Stetson Doggett would you go with mint sim or Verizon Prepaid? was paying 92 a month with T mobile didn't have horrible service but it didn't work everywhere. mint sim for 45 bucks for 3 months or verizon for 50 each month

I personally would go with Mint SIM. Half the price, the same amount of data or more. I've also had reasonable T-Mobile coverage where I live. I'd at least try them out.

looking into buying a phone. verizon has a deal where its 159 for an iphone SE plus 50 for the first month total 209 without an activation fee. or i was thinking a V20 Used(189.99) with mint sim(45) . only issue is if i order a tmobile V20 id be stuck to mint sim if it doesn't work out well. i also have the option of ordering the V20 for verizon if i wanted to use that on their prepaid. Used to use an iphone 7 plus on tmobile and used to about a year ago have an LG V20 on cricket(not bad service but capped data speeds) thank you for the help in advance! great videos quality content!

great video thanks for the tips. Sounds like a good plan. I'm on my parents plan now that is 1000min 1000 texts and unlimited data for 70/month. it's good but I'm finding it need unlimited text. Any suggestions about going on my own with Verizon?

If you need Verizon coverage, I suggest Verizon's $50 prepaid plan w/ 5GB of LTE data, Total Wireless's $35 plan w/ 5GB of LTE data (but capped at 5Mbps down and 2Mbps up), or Boom Mobile's $30 plan w/ 2GB of LTE data.

Wifi calling issue needs to be fixed. I've missed calls. It does work when it's correct. I talked with them a third time to get help with Wifi calling. My friends have said they called me the other day and my call went right to voicemail when I was at home on wifi calling. The HD Calling is nice!

I have Verizon and I also couldn’t get WiFi calling to work. Out where my grandma lives in a very rural area I can only get one bar of service and the voice quality isn’t great, so I called customer service and they told me you have to turn on airplane mode and turn off your cellular data and then activate WiFi calling.

You pay for the service monthly. You pay for the first month, and then you get 30 days of service. If after the 30 days you decide not to pay, your service will be temporarily suspended. You can re-activate your service by paying again. So my understanding is your billing cycle will start when you make payment.

What's the T-Mobile $30 unlimited talk/text plan with 5gb of data you mentioned when you were comparing plans??? It's not the Walmart plan is it?? The $30 T-Mobile plan only has 100 mins of talk and then unlimited text and 5gb of data. The $50 dollar prepaid plan from T-Mobile plan is what has unlimited talk/text and 5gb of data. If There is a new plan please let me know because I'm in between this prepaid Verizon plan and the Walmart exclusive T-Mobile $30 plan.

Sorry! My mistake! I meant T-Mobile's $30/month plan with 100 minutes, unlimited text, and 5GB of LTE data. My fingers just get in the habit of typing "unlimited talk" because so many plans have it. There is no new plan you're missing out on. My apologies.

Yes! In fact, you may not even be on a contract. It may be possible for you switch to a prepaid carrier and start saving sooner.

Don't buy the SIM kit online. I ordered it and I had to call customer support only for them to tell me that it was canceled on its own and I had to go to a retail store to purchase one. They also told me that if I did order another one it would most likely cancel itself again.

Update, 5 months now, wifi calling issues have been fixed. I'm enjoying my prepaid Verizon wireless plan. I haven't noticed a difference in network quality or call quality compared with Verizon post paid. I have 7gbs of date for 50.00 plus state taxes. You also get rollover data.

Go to walmart and get 6GB of data for $35 a month. Add about $150 and you can get an iPhone SE too. The data is run from Verizon cell towers and the data speed is uncapped.

I'm not seeing anyone mention that the final price can be much higher. I'm pricing out the 8Gb plan for 2 smart phones and it's $55 after tax + $80 worth of line access fees. So instead of $55 it's $135.30!!

+chevyhighrider The line access charge is only for The Verizon Plan. You don't pay a line access charge if you sign up for Verizon Prepaid! That's why Prepaid is a much better deal.

😒 I had to leave Cricket unlimited for Verizon 10gb plan. ATT/Cricket doesn't work on my block of the neighborhood. I miss Cricket though because it was cheaper and I got excellent coverage. With cricket, I went hiking out in the desert of Phoenix and still got 4g coverage.

wow that is a amazing plan however I wish unlimited data was available with Verizon. I seriously can't believe how good this prepaid option is though . I will still never use prepaid ever again though I want to be given all the best network features. most prepaid carriers screw you one way or another.

blackfear1562 I used to have Verizon wireless post paid for many years. I got tired of being ripped off. Now, I'm on Verizon prepaid with the same 50.00 plan. The same features, just no roaming. Their is only a 10% difference in coverage between the two. You can check out their roaming map between regular Verizon and prepaid. I'm happy I switched. Hd calling, wifi calling, the data isn't throttle, visual voicemail, and every other features you get with normal Verizon wireless post paid.

my husband and I left Verizon too expensive unable to get services around we live. customer representative always pressure us into buy things we did not want. the company we are at now simply straight foward no hidden fees great customer service. i pay $70 a month unlimited talking texting unlimited data. no taxes. have better services now

I had Boost which runs on Sprint and they were good for me when I lived in NJ before I moved to Florida and when I got to my new home in Florida, no service on Boost/Sprint. I switched back to Verizon as a result since its rural. I may get one to three bars on my phone out of like 5 or 6 on my regular Black Onyx S7, but I can at least still use my phone.

Yes, thank you Elizabeth. I get a bonus gigabyte every month with Verizon because I bought the sim kit from Walmart. Just go to your local Walmart and you’ll see where all the plans come with an extra one gigabyte.

Stetson Doggett Does Total Wireless support mobile hotspot on an iPhone? I know that it probably caps the download speeds to 5mbps but $35 a month for 5GB of data and $60 a month on a share plan with 8 GB of data is a great deal! We currently have two phones on straight talk-Verizon and pay about $90 per month. 8GB of data would be plenty for both of us.

This is a bogus plan. I have a galaxy s8+ and I can't use verizon prepaid... even thought when I did the IMEI check for my phone on THE verizon website and it said YES i CAN use my phone on Verizon's network. So I go to walmart buy a sim card and a 50 dollar card and.... nope not compatible. Screw verizon

wack... boost gives you 24gigs of LTE. 8gigs of hotspot. i pretty much sum up around 60gigs of data per month. ...5gigs is a joke

The problem is that there are areas of the country that don't give you Sprint coverage through Boost and as a result, Boost would be useless like it is in my area. Verizon and AT&T are the ones that work and maybe T-Mobile in my area. I had to leave Boost as a result of bad coverage for Verizon.
