I know how it feels. I'm in a relationship with my girlfriend and we known each other since childhood and she would put my head on her "cushions" to comfort me. She's always there for me just like I'm always there for her
@@waimoemoe1199 haha. It’s because of the general storyline and the growing relation between Vermeil and Alto. Given Vermeil’s experiences, she can finally be herself around someone she cares about. The fan service is just funny. I even got the manga of it (it was only in Japanese but still). Plus the visuals are amazing the artstyle is fairly unique. Just a good anime in general

GAU-8 Avenger The GAU-8/A Avenger is a powerful, hydraulically driven, seven-barrel Gatling-type autocannon, developed by General Electric in the United States. Known for its distinctive roar and formidable firepower, the GAU-8 is primarily used as the main armament of the A-10 Thunderbolt II, a ground-attack aircraft operated by the United States Air Force (USAF). The weapon was designed specifically for the close air support role, with an emphasis on destroying armored vehicles, surface-to-air missile (SAM) sites, and other ground targets. Design and Development The GAU-8 Avenger was conceived in the 1970s as part of the A-X program, which aimed to develop a dedicated close air support aircraft. The USAF required a weapon capable of firing a large volume of ammunition with high accuracy, to effectively engage and destroy heavily armored tanks and vehicles. General Electric’s design was selected for its unique Gatling-style mechanism, which allows the weapon to achieve a high rate of fire while minimizing barrel wear and heat generation. The GAU-8’s seven barrels are arranged in a rotary cluster, which rotates around a central axis. This rotary action enables the weapon to achieve a firing rate of 3,900 rounds per minute, though it is typically operated at a lower rate of 2,100 to 2,400 rounds per minute in combat situations to conserve ammunition. The cannon is chambered for 30×173 mm rounds, which are notably larger and more powerful than the ammunition used in most other aircraft guns. Specifications • Type: Rotary cannon • Caliber: 30 mm • Barrels: 7 • Rate of fire: 2,100-3,900 rounds per minute • Muzzle velocity: 1,013 m/s (3,320 ft/s) • Effective range: 1,200 m (4,000 ft) • Weight: 620 kg (1,350 lb) for the cannon alone; the complete system including feed mechanism and ammunition drum weighs approximately 1,830 kg (4,029 lb). Ammunition The GAU-8 Avenger fires 30 mm armor-piercing incendiary (API) and high-explosive incendiary (HEI) rounds. The most well-known round, the PGU-14/B API, contains a depleted uranium penetrator capable of piercing the thick armor of main battle tanks. The ammunition feed system of the GAU-8 is designed to prevent jamming, with spent casings being returned to the aircraft’s ammunition drum, ensuring continuous operation and reducing the risk of foreign object damage to the aircraft. Operational Use The A-10 Thunderbolt II, often called the “Warthog,” is the primary platform for the GAU-8 Avenger. The A-10 was designed around the GAU-8, with the cannon positioned slightly off-center in the aircraft’s fuselage to balance the recoil forces. The A-10’s ability to loiter at low speeds and altitudes makes it ideal for using the GAU-8 against ground targets, where precision and sustained firepower are critical. The GAU-8 has proven its effectiveness in various conflicts, including the Gulf War, the Kosovo War, and the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. Its ability to deliver massive firepower with pinpoint accuracy has made it a feared weapon on the battlefield, capable of destroying tanks, armored vehicles, and fortifications with ease.
