What you need to know about Vermilion Ohio. Vermilion Ohio sits on the shores of Lake Erie and is known for it's summer festivals, boat rides and great restaurants, but there is much more to this small town on a great lake. This video will tell you all you need to know about this small lakeside town just west of Cleveland, Ohio.

There is a Walmart down the road in Lorain but who wants to go to Walmart? Closer to Vermilion there’s a Target and Meijer. Meijer just opened last summer and I can count on one hand how many times I’ve been to Walmart since it opened. Housing costs in Vermilion depend on what you’re looking for. If you want waterfront you’re looking at close to a million. If you want uptown you can get a small house for $120,000.

@@LivinginClevelandOhio Who wants to go to Walmart? Uhhh 75% of Verm. Bit of a drive from Vermilion but worth it. Giant Eagle doesn’t quite cut it with their selections

It's Ohio, some winters are bad some are not! This winter wasn't so bad!! However, this May is crap! Last year May was beautiful!!

@@LivinginClevelandOhio I lived in Akron 66-81, bad winters aren't fun, moved to TX, and don't miss 'em, 1994 was bad I heard

@@michaelsix9684 94? Who remembers that? Actually I do!! We have one bad storm a year if that. We blame all of our weather on Canada. It’s May and 45 degrees because of the winds from Canada. Last May it was mid 80s and we were swimming in Lake Erie because the winds were coming from the south. But we had a mild winter...mild snowstorm on Christmas Eve and that’s about it.

Agreed! Cold temps,sure. But anyplace west of Cleveland lies just outside the snow belt. We have,in terms of snowfall pretty mild ones. Ashtabula,county,eat your frozen hearts out!😅
