*Why is this footage so W I D E !?* Vermintide 2 actually lets you have a much higher un-distorted & un-compromised FOV if you set you Aspect Ratio to 43:18. IK it looks weird on RU-vid but trust me; it plays a lot better.
Incredible dodging and weaving, I wish I were that good with the elf. (Personal story below, do not read if not interested on a random guy’s Horde Co-op anecdote) This did remind me of a moment very similar that I went through. It was the mission where you assault the Norscan camp to kill their champion. The item drops were not very kind that playthrough, and since I was playing Bounty Hunter and had equipped a charm that made me regenerate life, I let my randoms take all the healing they could. We did our best, and were barely going through until the Battering Ram Payload section. It all went to shit, much like in this video. Everyone was dying one after another, and I for sure got downed and rezzed at least once in that disaster. When I was the only one left I was full on spiteful mode. “Fuck it, if the game wants us dead it better work for it” I thought to myself, fully expecting to get backstabbed by some dude with an axe behind me and just try again another time. To this day I cannot recreate what I accomplished, I was ABUSING the Bounty Hunter’s ability cooldown reduction by getting collateral headshots as I swing my falchion around. It was “Rapier and Pistol at home” gaming, lmao. I fucking did it, I survived and killed everything, bbig dudes, rats… thank god no berserkers or plague priests appeared… broke down the gates, rescued the randos and the game was merciful enough to give us a lot of healing after that section. It felt so hype.
so couple things as a rat slapper veteran, i love that you know the hidden extra attack you can do with the great sword H+L right after the H, and second, nice prioritization, instead of smacking some enemies still, you just chose to smack then push to stagger and let the poison finish them. Good stuff my dude!
