Lot off rods off certain names are made in a few factories in China 3 I believe. Others are not such as Diawa, century and Zziplex. That’s what’s good about choice so if you want to buy rods at over £30 you can. All depends on the way you look at it, if you want to sit on the bank and take in your surroundings looking at the rods of your choice and that’s fulfilling for you then you made the right choice. I couldn’t go fishing and be happy to fish if I didn’t like my gear. Hence it’s all about choice. All you need to catch is a sharp hook, good bait and the fish in front of you.
