Verona is a city in the north of Italy in the Veneto Region. The city was founded on the Adige River and today Verona has 260,000. The urban region of Verona is much bigger with a population of 720,000. The highlight of Verona is the Roman Verona Arena and ancient Roman Amphitheater which is still being used for concerts. Other highlight are the Piazza Bra from Verona Arena, the House of Juliet, Ponte Pietra, the Statue of Madonna Verona's fountain in Piazza Erbe and the Lamberti Tower.
