naughty Majz Guy or girl,the first step is sending photos and a stat sheet (height, weight, suit/dress size, eye color) to as many legit agents you can locate. Don't send photos if you're not willing to live where you send them. Don't pay hundreds of $$ on photos. Just decent photos (3 minimum) showing your full face, 3/4 face and full body (no shirt if you're a guy/ bikini if you're a female) will be enough. Include a good smile in there as well, unless you've got a terrible smile. I'll tell you now, your height is going to be a deficit if you are a male. Send to at least 6 agencies. If you don't get a reply, try 6 more. Last but not least, don't pay to get a contract. Legit agencies only take money when you make money working as a model for them. You meant modelling when you wrote "fashion industry" right?

To be ruthless - and model agents will be - you're too short. It doesn't matter how good looking you are, this is vital for a male model. Under 6ft and they rarely take you on. Sorry!!

they usually only hire men about 6 feet unless you have a unique personality like Kate Moss but then again I have yet to see an international male model shorter than 6 feet.
