It is a separate ticket. Employees even make sure all day visitors leave. If you buy both as I did, you can wait around the front gate area (the whole area is wide open) until they call for everyone. I would suggest going to the official Versailles Website for more information or to buy your tickets. Have a great time if you go! 😀

Because this is a ticketed event, I believe they opened the gates around 6 p.m. This was filmed in July and the sky didn't get dark enough for the fireworks till 11p.m. so you are able to go around and see all the working fountains till the show begins. I am having issues downloading the firework show but hope to have them up soon. They are quite lovely so please stop back to see if they are up or if you subscribed, activate the alert button for their viewing. @@Visio.Vibes1 planning on heading out there this summer and saw that they’re bringing back the night fountain show. From your video the sunset looks beautiful there. What did you do before going to Versailles, during the day I mean?

@@DavidHernandez-vd8ok Oh, I had a very early morning ticket for the "Palace tour". They are cleaning & refinishing areas of the palace (Royal Chapel was just completed) and some of the fountains and areas of the palace roof gold inlay was refashioned. They probably look now as they did when the king was alive. (I have a video up of the tour if you wish a preview) I then went down to the Queen's hamlet and the Trianon. Versailles is large and I slowly made my way around. The grounds "officially" close and they ask the day visitors to leave, even if they have a ticket for the night show. There is plenty of room to wait (many people did) in the area in front of the gold gates that is still the property of the palace. I found purchasing the tickets beforehand was easy and best to assure a spot for a popular attraction. Be sure to read their entire website in case things I have said might have changed. You know places like to tweak their procedures. I had great (but hot, hot) weather and I hope you have a great night also for the show.✨
