I was raised in a church you described and I received no edification from this group. It can turn people OFF. It took me years to put all their stuff in the right place.

I wish you could have taught on the absteining from foods a bit more biblically. Even tho you made that joke about the donuts which was funny because we know theyre bad for us, then you went on to justify eating food bad for you. Donuts arent good for anyone. You made light of a serious issue. You are not a health practitioner clearly. Just praying for things that were not meant to be eaten is not an excuse. And then you just moved on after people laughed. I cant beleive you did not preach truth there.
