Chapter 12 is some years after David married Bathsheba, and it could have been up to 10 years. The Hebrew word for child is "yeled." Which means a boy--a lad. The word for "infant" is very different. "Yanaq." There is no indication that the boy was an infant, in fact, the Hebrew word suggests otherwise.

The explanation of God giving David multiple wives makes zero sense. You just tried to dismiss by saying “God didn’t condone it but he gave them to him and told him he would have given him more had he asked.” You’re right when you say the Bible doesn’t contradict itself. That must mean that your interpretation of one-man, one-woman is wrong. All of his marriages were one-man, one-woman. A one-woman, multiple-women marriage would mean that the women in that union are also married to each other.

This teaching, the whole world needs to hear. The lessons learned are beyond wisdom. God is Amazing and Pastor Gary is an exceptional teacher.

Time ago, I prayed for a teacher who would help me better understand GOD's directions and explain biblical history . . . then THE LORD lead me to this channel. Thank you LORD, for your mercy with all the sin that I'm reflecting on at this moment. (HE is sure to remind me of others.) That I do not make quick judgment statements before speaking, not blast out another's history (professional or personal) on issues without recalling my own. Even if it causes me to 'say/do nothing'. Amen God is merciful

Thank you Pastor Gary, you have so encouraged me in the Lord. I knew in 2015 while facing the overdose of my son for 5 days in the hospital, waiting for them to pronounce him dead, and harvesting his organs, because that is what he chose to do at age 20. I trusted the Lord for His will to be done, i excepted full heartedly God's will, although i never left his side, until his doner surgery, knowing God could perform a miracle. But i excepted The outcome. I knew his father and i , both being addicts, that I had failed my son. His father too had died 6 years earlier from drugs. The Lord, never left me, He actually took care of all the funeral arrangements, gave me scriptures to rest on, and The Lord buried my son for me. Days later, after over a week of everything, getting back from out of state, where we layed my son to rest with his father, i was sitting in my kitchen, and satan began to acuse me . ' its all your fault, you and his father doing drugs, its all your fault ' For 3 days satan taunted me, then the Lord spoke to me and said, ' Rebuke him! ' And let me tell you, I rebuked that ol devil, God took my grief, and gave me gifts and miracles, and family i hadnt seen in 35 years. I can honestly say, my relationship with The Lord all my life, is amazing....2015 was the best blessed year of my life, and i lost my favorite child out of 4....BUT GOD....I could never ever deny my Lord...so much positivity and encouragement came from the death of my son. You just couldn't believe the book i could write, prior to, during, and all through these almost 9 years later...I boast in The God of Abraham, Our Lord.... P.S, And then 4 years ago, The Lord sent Pastor Gary and Pastor Jack Hibbs...Ive been drug free 2 years, still battling nicotine, please keep me in prayers. Im experiencing God's Word like ive never before. Im finishing up my 2nd year reading the bible through. Im grateful I have a bible teacher like you...God Bless The Body of Christ...❤
