Thank you so much pastor Gary for the clarification that real faith is the relentless pursuit of the Lord whether you see results or not. My heart jumped with joy and I felt like a heavy burden was lifted because I thought my faith was weak because i saw no results even though I continually turn my heart towards Him and seek and pursue Him.

I'm blessed by the teachings

Absolutely enjoying the series through Hebrews (my favorite book) & especially ch. 11 (my all time favorite chapter). Thank you!!! I just checked to see who was Lapidoth, Deborah's husband & I found that he might be the same as BARAK. Not sure if this is true, but if it is, the text makes lots more sense to me. Also amazed by min.30 "no man steps up". I can see that happening today, especially in MANY families. Many men, husbands, fathers are "absent". So the women, wives, mothers step up BY DEFAULT. & then, many of these same men complain that their wives run the family. W no man in charge, someone has to do the job. Men: step up to the plate. Pray first, then, act. Otherwise, we'll see this country of ours go down the drain. Start in your family, at your work place, in your neighborhood, city, state.... Be involved in the raising of the kids! Start w prayer & then DO whatever the Lord puts on your heart. Whatever you do, do NOT be passive.
