I was wondering why Gary said that the giants in Joshua day were descendants of the Nephilims when it says in GEN 7:23 Every living thing on the face of the earth was wiped out; people and animals and the creatures that move along the ground and the birds were wiped from the earth. Only Noah was left, and those with him in the ark.

That's exactly what I thought but I agree that they, Anakim, were decended from Nephilim but IDK how to explain their not being wiped out in the flood.

Gen 7:21Every living thing that moved on land perished-birds, livestock, wild animals, all the creatures that swarm over the earth, and all mankind. 22Everything on dry land that had the breath of life in its nostrils died. 23Every living thing on the face of the earth was wiped out; people and animals and the creatures that move along the ground and the birds were wiped from the earth. Only Noah was left, and those with him in the ark. Gen 6: 4 In those days, and for some time after, giant Nephilites lived on the earth, for whenever the sons of God had intercourse with women, they gave birth to children who became the heroes and famous warriors of ancient times.

Didn’t they become spirits? I feel like the spirits of the Nephilim is here now
