I'm a huge fan of both. The more I watch it the more I feel it was actually Lando's doing. If you compare Lando's line to Max's line against Sainz you will see what i'm talking about. Lando is trying to keep his entire car from the outside line when you only need your right tires. 3/4 of your car can be over that line. Max did this against Sainz and was able to undercut him. I think Lando was actually trying to undercut Max but misjudged how fast Max was going and hit his left rear tire while turning in. I think the F1 announcer's and Lando's onboard influenced a lot of people's opinions. Lando is green when it comes to this sort of up close front racing. If I was Max I would show him that vid with Sainz. This is what you do if your opponent is doing taking this line. Go wide and turn in.

If there is space to the left, why drive into Max. If you keep that line, you know you are done. What Max said is true. He leave space on the left.

There is a camber shift going into that corner. Look at the race diagram and how everyone takes that corner. They move left to sweep the apex. You would lose to much time taking a ninety degree angle.

He did what everyone does and Lando failed to do what is necessary to win. Max drove into the grass in Spain in order to win. That’s why he’s a champ and Lando won’t be till he figures it out.

Last year sainz put a move on Verstappen same race same corner same move to the left no problem, and in 2018 same thing between Hamilton and Vettel no crash again.People should ask themselfs if lando is still to much of a rookie to race one on one battles?

Still the rule is no moving under breaking which max did 3 times and no plenty so clearly the rules do not apply to max, saw loser is my verdict on max should be a race ban or this will keep happening as nothing has changed since battling hamilton.

@@andrewbateman5382what he did is done on every defense of a corner like that. He didn’t get penalized for moving under braking because he didn’t break the rule, even the stewards said so. Watch Hulk do it to Checo in the last set of clips from the highlights from this weekend.

Priestley, a former McLaren mechanic, believes that was a just penalty but finds it “strange” that the stewards didn’t earlier penalise Verstappen for moving under braking in his defending against Norris. “They even introduced a rule about not moving under braking cause of Verstappen and yet it was Verstappen himself who seemed to breach that rule, although the stewards didn’t seem to agree necessarily which I find very strange.”

It's Lando fault, even with faster car he can't make clean overtake, it's a shame really... Max have every right to defend his position, just watch Leclerc and Max battles, very fair from both drivers, Norris just making Torpedo moves, Max only defending knowing what's coming...

When MV passed LN before turn 4, why did he not have DRS available while he was running from turns 3 to 4? Max should learn that he could also pass other cars that have passed him in the DRS ZONE, when he is behind them in the DRS zone zone. Defending too hard to keep them behind is not always the best option, because using the advantage of DRS is much easier to achieve track position.

Max without a doubt!! lando went to the outside, max moved simple as that thinking he’ll back out Just another Schumacher This will get even worse as the season progresses He’s not got the fastest or best car anymore Max is great driver, possibly the best that’s ever been or could be But will he be remembered for greatness or his attitude when tested.

It was clearly Max's fault, he turned left clearly looking for the contact with Lando; even the penalty he got from the FIA was absurd (only 10 seconds) when he should have been penalized with a drive through for that intentional action. In fact, all pilots should press him as Lando did, if he tries such a collision strategy with each of them instead of fair F1 driving he will be out of the competition soon 😂.

Off track? 2 centimeters to the left and the collision wouldn't have happened. What Max did was wrong, but Lando had the time to make sure he didn't get hit, but he just let it happen.
