@jondonnelly4831 consistent podiums means he need to reach the 3th place.. but he was 5th 3 times from the last 4 races.. his average position on the last 4 races is 4th what is not even close to a consistent podium result..

If it had been illegal things would have happened but nothing happened. I suspect it wasn't a black or white rule breaker, but was enough for FIA to "hang their hat on", so they asked them to change it. Get over the Red Bull hate!
I think Max potentially leaving is also one of the 2 reasons that they have kept Checo the other being the sportsmanship money he brings. Perez can be good but he is just no where in terms of consistency.

Max would be foolish to leave Red Bull the car is built around him and his driving characteristic's. Ever year the new car see's Perez close to Max and as the car develops towards Max, Perez drops off.

He can't drive only if the others sitting on the white line when they see him in the mirror.. but that us not called to racing (by the way they didn't allowing him to go because he is faster, they just don't want to risk their car with hus dirty tricks.. but those same pilots do at least one defensive movements against Perez, Norris and Piastri who have equaly or even faster cars like Verstappen, so they have zero reson to make more defense against them but they are defensing, because that 3 pilots racing fairly unlike Verstappen.. and that is not skill if the others don't even try to defend..)
Any amount of damage to the team or the car for the remainder of the year pales in comparison to the money that would be lost if Perez wasn't in that seat when his special docuseries comes out. This is all that this is about, and some of the team left when things like this started to take priority.
Ricciardo is a mediocre driver. I don't understand why people are still talking about him and giving him chance after chance. How many races did he win with Redbull? 6? After thst he failed with Renault, McLaren and Alpha Tauri. Give him Maxe's or Lewis car and he will fail once again.
Well, that mediocare driver constanly beated Verstappen for 2 years.. 😂 before 2018 Monaco Ricciardo always delivered more points like Verstappen for the team (which means if the car is better he is also the world champion and it's not Verstappen.. because it's based on points..) Verstappen before the team builded the car directly for him was also mediocare.. (remember when Perez was ahead on a few street races, Verstappen also wasn't on pair with Perez.. because that car was a regular car, the type what Perez can drive, but Verstappen can't.. he need the special car what is his preference.. the car what slighly slip in the corner, but all other drivers prefer the more stable cars.. this is the reason why Verstappen is better in rain like the others, because it's just sliping more in the corners, what he likes more like the others..)
They don't want Daniel to win races or championships. They want a good working relationship for Max where Max will always win and Daniel will help and give him a good friend to help keep Max at the team. They just don't want someone who is smashing cars up. Perez will be gone at the end of the season and Daniel will be at Redbull.
Well, my only question about any such move (of Max) would be: How would Mr Personality get along with the Mercedes team? They have carefully constructed a world view/brand that reflects inclusion and caring. Would he or they be able to adapt?
Red Bull picks a pay driver who is trash at this point is crazy. I think it is the perfect time to leave Red Bull and go to Mercedes. Main reason for me is that Toto is just an incredibly capaple guy and Red Bull looks like they will struggle in the next years.
I wouldn't be surprised if there is a huge driver move / shuffle for the drivers and teams during the last few races. Yes Max's father desperately wants his son in the Mercedes! If Checo stays till the end of the 2024 season, or even through the Mexican race, Max will be behind and lose the driver's and constructor's championship. Max will then leave for Mercedes for 2025. Sainz will use his exit clause from Williams for Red Bull for 2025. If Checo doesn't retire after the end of this year, Carlos Slim, will pay in a huge way for Checo to get in the Williams team for 2 years. One can no longer compare or contrast past years decisions to current day! This is the new reality of the cost cap ERA!
can not stand the bad loser and egotist "ver strapon" but can not stand " i think i am the best driver george russel" less. so seing strapon go to merc is great seeing weasle russel being a number 2 is great.
