I love the juctoposition of the two sinks. The Barbie sink with all the fun and bright colors, looks like it's in the kids' bathroom. Whereas the DIY sink with the sleek black and white/silver modern feel, looks like it's in the parents' bathroom. Now to which I love best, I personally like the DIY better. Although if I got the Barbie sink I'd paint and modify it to the way the DIY sleek style.

Not gonna lie, just found that Ken Sink for sale recently at Walmart--So glad I passed it up for this brilliant thrifty option instead. If you want to make it waterproof, just use a plastic barbie bowl or paint a jam packet and glue it on there instead. Or mod podge everything forever! Either way. Can't go wrong with DIY!

Of course I love your DIY projects the best. The colorful and realistic details are always on point and the total price is hard to beat. But unless this handsome wolf man Ken is sold separately, I would make your DIY project, but still buy the sink set just for him. 🤣💕

(Ik this is old) Barbie sink and other playset hacks: if you can’t make another (for example) a sink and you either have some lying around or have a few dollars for paint you could always paint it a new color not to mention add details! And you can paint it any color you want! This goes for any other small Barbie set too. Okay now, say you made frights craft, but you really liked the water function..maybe you can put some plastic either the shape of it or make the shape and secure it closed and put it in the sink so it can hold water?

A domestic care Ken set, we are truly seeing great progress in dolls right now. Could you imagine 20 years ago ever seeing a Ken doll with a washer / dryer? I also love the little peg holes so shelved items won't come loose and fall away as easy and the easy to dress ken's elastic shorts. And shave Ken's play function is so fun for kids, reminds me so much of my old bed time barbie that had sleepy eyes you could help appear by wiping her face with water
