I loved your video. I really hate the "instructional" fishing videos that are mostly obnoxiously loud music and what amounts to watching some guys just catch one fish after the next with almost no true instruction or techniques discussed. Your video had plenty of great techniques and information. Thanks!
I thank you and thundermistlures for almost always replying to all your subscribers , and your viewers !! You really care for your channels subs and veiwers thankyou so much !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ashlin
Very nice video. Here on the East Coast we do a lot of vertical jigging for stripers in the summer and late winter. Hopkins type lures in summer and jighead with Fluke in the winter. I will have to try your pendulum method when they get sluggish. I may take a marker and mark the 30 foot on my line. Hard for me to judge 30 foot otherwise. Thanks for posting.
we do this in lake Lanier North of Atlanta in the summer when the big fish are down deep....try using a 2 oz round head jig with a curly tail work behind it. I have caught more 30 lb fish on our lake that way than any other technique. We call it power reeling because we drop it below the fish and then rip it up through the column of water where the fish are. Great Video.
Great vids! I fish the delta all the time, around rio vista, and franks tract. I have tried many of your tips with mixed results. The big question is what area do you fish in? I know your probably not interested in revealing all the good spots but I’ll take all the info I can get. Thanks!!
Hey bro i used to live in Oakley and have fished all over the delta if you wanna catch strippers and alot of them you need to get ur ass to Discovery bay now you can go vertical for them or top water however if you want to catch some toads 30 to 40 plus lbs get some bluegill or warmouth or redear sunfish about three fingers wide one single 6ot hook and a 1/8 split shot 20 inches in front of that hook rig the live bait through both lips but not to deep if you dont have a trolling moter on ur boat you can drift the secret is is to keep that bait moving thats what they want 8ft salmon and steelhead rod 12 or 14 lbs line with bait caster your on free spool the whole time cuz you have to let them run try it ull see my biggest out of there is 47lbs in December but you can catch them there all year round have a good time
I love your boat. What size is that whaler? I notice you put a bow mount trolling motor on there. Did you remove the front guard rail? Thanks! Awesome Video like always
