I agree that skorpios won this one. But just barely since bloodsport definitely compromised it’s weapon but other than that skorpios really controlled them

One of the closest fights I have ever seen. I am not sure who I would have voted for if I had been a judge.

This match was REALLY close than met the eye. For me, I thought Bloodsport won, given the criteria for the show, but Skorpios has a valid argument as well. Here's how I put it according to Battlebots's criteria: Damage: 4 - 1 Bloodsport (Skorpios lost use of its weapon early) Control: 0 - 3 Skorpios (No contest for control, Skorpios won it here) Aggression: 2 - 1 Bloodsport (While it was driving away from Skorpios for large portions of the battle, Skoprios also lost use of its weapon early and Bloodsport kept using its weapon throughout the battle. Arguably you could say Skorpios won aggression because of its driving. However, the criteria favors weapon use over driving, unless the driving plays a major role. I personally find this aggression rule from Battlebots a double-edged sword. If I weren't using Battlebots's criteria, I would've given it to Skorpios for its driving, 100%. However, the criteria would label Skorpios's driving as more control. Kinda like Razorback vs SawBlaze back in Season 2, when Razorback was deemed the aggressor because of the use of its drum throughout the battle. Like I said, I find Battlebots's agression rule a double-edged sword and I wish they gave the driving as equal aggression as weapon use, and not weapon use over driving.)

The simpler the better for these bots. Hammer bots don't do to well in these days, and combining it with a spinning blade just weakens scorpios. Needs a redesign imo.

Scorpios wasn’t aggressive, it was defensive. There’s a BIG difference there. And they certainly didn’t win the damage category either. This fight was bloodsport all the way.

I love how Scorpios does almost no damage but they are very durable

Bloodsport got robbed

Good battle, despite some technical failures. But it's been decades, and other than the screws the arena hazards are still not worth the trouble. The hammer occasionally makes a difference, but the hazards are mostly so erratic they're unfair, and so weak they're pointless. It amazes me that they haven't been improved in all this time.

I love that this still goes on. I remember when it first came out.

To be fair Bloodsport could have fought another battle against another robot. Scorpios not so much.

This and junkyard wars were my go to shows.

I gotta say as much as these are very entertaining, I really think the championship battles should go with no time limit...to the death! Kind of lame it's timed. BS probably would have won it if it was fight to the death

Skorpios didn’t deserve the win on this one. They didn’t inflict any damage on their opponent while taking a ton of damage.

i just don't get why not giving scorpios a real saw. To like cut thru the metal instead of this weak spinner. It has a very strong wedge, it can surely take on strong weapons face to face, then pin then against the wall and cut thru most bots with a proper saw.

When human stand side by side with robot, it's look very big. It's already dangerous to human..... 😱👍

Don't agree with that decision at all. The scorecard gives the bots 3 categories. Damage. Aggression and control. 5 max for damage, 3 max for Aggression and 3 max for control. Bloodsport mangled Scorpios weapon and damages its armour. Scorpios just pushed it around the box and pinned it for a few seconds. Bloodsport should have had that one.

Bloodsport should’ve won, I mean he completely disabled their weapon and made it so the only thing their opponent had was pushing them against a wall.

how can you watch this and think bloodsport won? it's absurd. i get that bloodsport did some damage, but it clearly, laughably, lost in the other two categories.

This decision is wrong, they spent most of the battle without a primary weapon and didn't do any damage.
