I am an athletic person- when I run in the mornings, I use that time to pray to God. Connect myself with him and pray for people in my life. This song is the fuel behind it now. Not only does it make me run fast- I feel like I AM RUNNING TO THE ARMS OF JESUS!

@@LouLou10162it’s referencing when Elijah was challenged by the prophets of Baal to prove the one true living God. They each had a sacrifice prepared on an altar and would have to call upon their gods to bring the fire down. The prophets of Baal obviously sat there for hours with nothing happening. Then Elijah said “watch this” 😉 and drenched his offering in water and then called upon God who then sent a fire down that completely consumed the sacrifice, alter and water.

Hi Lou Lou, thanks for the great question. From my understanding, it’s referring to a story in scripture that specifically demonstrated our God’s power in 1 Kings chapter 18 starting verse 21. God gave Elijah instructions to drench the alter and the sacrifice in water multiple times and to stand back and watch that He alone would still ignite the fire and burn the offering. Awesome story. Hope that helps.
