Also the Lady who spoke was right, our government and departments, have to be alert and change current practices in order for citizens to be safe and have an effective handle on migration. Without those mechanisms, our safety and our country would be compromised.
Nigeria is a failed state, with a complete breakdown of law & order in that country. The situation is similar across most of West Africa. Ghana must take the security of its borders very, very seriously. Stop renting your houses and shops to aliens. The Ghana immigration service must step up its efforts to protect our borders 24/7!

Nigeria mess up/fail state but they are Africans not aliens . Ghana yes need to fix it security and as you said people should stop renting their properties to them. What I have seen is Nigeria parents don't allow kids to be kids. They force the kids to grow up with force which don't make them matured. You can see this in their behaviour. They speak words which are not meant for kids around the kids. That's why every Nigerian can't make a full statement conversation without using words like stupid, foolish, idiots, useless, mad etc. To us Ghanaians when you talk like that we believe you're not posh and uncivilized but to them it means your tough and hard which is ghettoish. In Ghana we say every child has the right to be a child but to them it's not like that. That's why in Ghana everything we do children first.
How did Nigeria get here? what happened? and how did they get it so wrong? Instead of Dino Melaye considering the state welfare for most vulnerable in society, children and senior citizens, he is busy talking like he never went to school. One just want to cry for this children.
Even if they get into the country,immigration must team up with the Police to deport illegal immigrants.If they had been doing that,the numbers would have been reduced.Deportation must be a deterrent otherwise they will keep coming.
I actually agree with you..These videos are numerous everywhere and our leaders aren't doing anything to put a stop to it...The small boy who claimed he's 14 is even more criminally minded than the other two...Parents and our leaders are the problem of this breakdown...No one is saying anything now..This is how our northern brothers created Boko haram with more than 10 million children roaming around the street begging for food all in the name of Almagiri, now majority of them have joined Boko haram and banditry kidnapping and killing people..

Free education from age 4 to 20 will give every child a chance in life. Introduce, vocational courses, apprenticeship, students loan for universities, Federal government needs to help ordinary citizens. What is happening?

you guys are always blaming the wrong people. is the government of Ghana paying the immigration officers what is due them? yet u want them to exercise deligence in their work. we have people in government who does nothing, ride in SUVs, take home 70000, take housing and fuel allowances and others. people on the ground who actually does the work collect bread crumbs at the end of every 30 days, so blame the government.
Nothing is due any immigration officer. If you're unhappy with your jobs, you're free to leave. Didn't you know your conditions of service when you applied for and accepted the job? If you can't exercise diligence in your work, then it's not your job. Leave!
