Just like every year, Latvian Music Information Centre and national recording company SKANi keep releasing the «JAZZ IN LATVIA» compilation album, which represents the fresh Latvian jazz music scene of the current year and includes recently released recordings of Latvian musicians. This time some of the musicians included in the compilation went beyond their audio-files only to represent the scene, playing their compositions in a live concert setting, giving the listener a glimpse of what our jazz is all about.
