Thank You So much. I've been forcibly using 1440p before but thanks to you I tested on my own sample video & they validate fully what you said.

There is no quality différence exporting a 1080p video to 1440p 60fps and 1080p to 1080p 120 fps ?

@@Detends-Toi No Difference so long as Total Bitrate does not decrease after resolution-fps change.

my video has vp09 and the quality is still bad even though i exported at 2k @@MrErgenta

@@milo-hb Beyond changing the codec, I'm not too sure. If you google ShotCut video editor, they might be able to help. You probably don't use it, but video formatting is universal. ShotCut Discord or might try a number of different discords such as Adobe. You don't need to use that software in order for what they say to be valid as video itself is, as I said, universal.

Thanks for this! I didnt know about the 120fps trick. Also does the 120fps output require double the bitrate to maintain original video quality????

I'm not sure but I wouldn't think so since the compression is what causes the blurriness. Even if you double or triple the bitrate, in my experience, it makes no difference due to RU-vid and you not rating a better codec.

ye but after i did it yt uploads 1440 graphics instead of making my 1080p much higher quality

Glad it helped. I've seen a lot of these type of videos mention increasing the resolution but none of them mention increasing frames.

been using vp09 for years now but looks exactly the same as the avc1 or whatever it is, anyone know a fix for this?

There's a step above vp09 which is av01 but that's limited to people with larger channels from what I've seen. The difference between vp09 and avc1 is the motion blurriness. You can really only tell when there's high framerates which is why I used a clip of moving quickly.

@@MrErgenta ya that is the problem i have, blurry/pixelation while moving quickly or if there is a ton of pixels on the screen all moving, but if i stand still its crystal clear

@@WillibumWason vp09 is the best I've seen as standard. Not quite sure how you can trigger a high grade codac.

@@MrErgenta I just need to figure out how to stop the pixelation and blurriness whenever I play games that require me to move quickly around, looks like a garbage mess
