The drunken granny stitch? I’ve made many of these blankets and they turn out beautifully and work up really fast!!

I’m not sure. This other tutorial people thought that was the name too. So I’ll have to look up the drunken granny stitch. How To Crochet An Easy/Fast Stitch for Beginners / Ideal for Blankets, Shawls | Simple Block Stitch ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-MszmMRleIzg.html

I have watched several different tutorials for this stitch in the past. This is, by far, the easiest to follow and understand. Thank you!

Hi, Jonna. I bought a used skein of yarn at my second chances store, the skein had a partial stitchpattern attached, I tried for awhile to figure it out as it was a very pretty stitch pattern, and I didn't want to frog it out. So I left it in my stash. Lo and behold! It was the stitch pattern you just showed on your tutorial, now I am able to finish what appears to be a baby blanket. I might add the yarn is a lovely yellow. 😍 thanks for this tutorial. I am so excited 😊. GOD BLESS see you on the tube 😀 🙏.

Hi Wendy, this green/blue yarn is from Ice Yarns. I lost the label for it unfortunately. If I figure out what it is I’ll be sure to comment again. The purple yarn is Caron cakes grape jelly. Thank you for watching and commenting!

I'm really sorry but I'm still learning about some things in crocheting. I've done mostly beginning patterns with just a few intermediate. Could you please explain to me more about the foundation chain of 4+6 or I saw in one of your other patterns 6+4 to get the length you want? I don't know how to get that. Thank you for your time.
@JonnaMartinezCrochet
@JonnaMartinezCrochet Год назад
That is called a multiple. So for example 4+6 would mean you crochet in groups of 4 until your work is as large as you like then add 6 more chain. So like 4+4+4+4+4 then 6 more. Hope this helps! Thanks for watching!

Hi Jonna! May I please know the name of the multi colored yarn you show in the beginning of the video? I can't seem to find it anywhere and it looks lovely! Thank you. 😊

I don’t understand why the foundation chain was too long?

I really like this drunken granny stitch. I always have trouble keeping the ends straight any suggestions? I’ve also seen one with 4dc ch2 1dc. Does it make a difference which one you use?
@JonnaMartinezCrochet
@JonnaMartinezCrochet Год назад
Maybe try a smaller hook and work on more precise stitches. A cotton yarn can help with this too (the edges) I haven’t tried the 4 dc What one so I cannot comment on that. Thank you for watching!

Hello thank you?I would love to make a shawl with this stitch how many chains would I start it with to make a shawl or a wrap I can understand how to do this stitch you make it so understanding ♥️♥️👀👀🧶🧶
@JonnaMartinezCrochet
@JonnaMartinezCrochet Год назад
I would grab a tape measure. Crochet as many as you need it to be wide plus a few for good measure and just crochet it across until the end like I did. Back out your extra chain and work up your shawl. I think 25-30” would be plenty wide for something like this or if you’re going the other way make it 65”-70” long then go 30” wide. Hopefully this makes sense! Thank you for watching and commenting ❤️
