Here’s the pattern! Notes: When making the chain border, the overall length of the project will shrink slightly. Make 4-6 extra puff stitch rounds to ensure to keep your desired length! 1.) 5 ch 2.) In the first chain, pull up 5 loops. Yarn over and pull through all five. 3.) 3 ch and flip your work 4.) Working into the space between your chain and puff stitch(loops of yarn pulled up) yarn over and pull up a loop. Repeat this 5 times. Pull through all but one loop (leaving 2 loops on your hook). Yarn over and pull through the last two loops. 5.) Repeat steps 3-4 to get your desired length 6.) Once you have reached your desired length, chain 5 after your last time doing step 4 7.) Slip stitch into the top of the complete puff stitch(where you pulled through all 5 of the loops you pulled up) 8.) Repeat the chain 5 and step 7 until you reach the end of your work. This creates a chain border on one side. 9.) Once you reached the end, you will chain 5 again and proceed to repeat the chain 5 and step 7. 10.) Once you have made your chain border around the entirety of your lanyard, either continue to work single crochet stitches around a clip of using one, or slip stitch into your chain 5 and fasten off your yarn 11.) All done!

Thank you for this easy to follow tutorial deff going to try this was typing this before you’d even gone down the one side and up the other it almost didn’t need that extra bit but I can see that will protect the inside pattern .thank you 😊😊😊
