This weighing machine was given my neighbor to me to fix it. The weighing machine does not give the accurate weight.
Or he himself has altered the weight of the weighing instrument either unwillingly or intentionally. There are some people in the society who constantly do not give you the right weight of goods.
Weight measurement on digital machines is apparently accurate. But anyone can underweight you with a scale. So a simple solution on how to get the right weight and no one can over or under weight you is given at the end of the video. So watch the video carefully.
I put a standard tool kit weight of 1000 grams on the scale. Note that it weighs 892 grams which is 108 grams less weight.
Now I put a standard tool kit weight of 500 grams on the weighing machine. Note that it weighs 464 grams which is 36 grams less.
This time I put a standard tool kit weight of 200 grams on the weighing machine. Note that it weighs 180 grams which is 20 grams less.
That means if the seller sells something to you with this weighing machine, you will get 108 grams more per full 1000 grams or per kg. And if the shopkeeper buys something with this weighing machine, he is taking more than 108 grams per 1000 grams or per kg which is not acceptable.
I will measure the same standard tool kit weight again. Let's say this weighing machine is used in some other shop.
I again placed a standard tool kit weight of 1000 grams on the weighing machine.
Note that a standard tool kit of 1000 grams weighs 1,388 grams which is 388 grams more.
Now I put a standard tool kit weight of 500 grams on the weighing machine.
Note, a standard 500g tool kit weight is showing at 720g which is 220g more.
This time I put a standard tool kit weight of 200 grams on the weighing machine.
Note that a standard tool kit of 200 grams weighs 278 grams, which is 78 grams more.
That means if the seller sells something to you with this weighing machine then you will get 388 grams less weight per 1000 grams or per kg which is not acceptable.
Now I will show you how to fix such a problematic digital weighing machine. Fixing a faulty digital weighing instrument is called calibration.
Calibration codes vary by manufacturing company. It is usually four digits. The digital weighing machine code is mentioned in the supplied manual sheet. If the code is not available, help can be taken from the company's hot line or Google.
I turned on the digital weighing machine for calibration. I pressed the code 3658 of this digital weight measuring device. Then I pressed the tire button once.
Note that the left side display shows CLC which indicates calibration mode. Now after pressing 1 press the Tare button once and went to the next step.
The standard tool kit to be used in this step should be placed in the tray of the digital weighing machine. Then I pressed the Tare button once again and went to the next step. In step 3, the weight of the standard tool kit should be given in gram digits. I mentioned 1 kg standard tool kit as 1000 grams. Then I pressed the Tare button once again and went to the next step.
In step 4, the maximum weight determined by the company on the digital weighing machine should be entered in grams. I referred to the 30 kg weight as 30,000 grams. The prescribed weight cannot be exceeded or over determined in any way at this stage. Then I pressed the Tare button once again and went to the next step.
In step 5, the digital weighing machine should give the number of digits after the decimal point. I put the default figure 3 digits to define 3 digits after decimal as grams. Then I pressed the Tare button once again and went to the next step.
In the 6th step, to adjust the weight more or less, select 2 as the default plus minus 2 grams and press the tare button once and go to the next step.
Now I turned off the digital weighing machine and put down the standard tool kit.
Calibration of my problematic digital weight scale is complete.
Now I will weigh all the standard tool kits.
1000 grams is showing which is correct. 500 grams is showing which is correct. 200 grams is showing which is correct.
At the beginning of the video, I said what to do if a digital weight scale does not show the correct weight or the shopkeeper mistakes a low weight for a high weight?
In this case, I will present a simple way. We all use mobile phones. Think of your mobile as a standard tool kit weight. If you want to buy something in the market, you can check whether the weight of your mobile is correct. If your mobile weight shows correct, then the digital weighing machine is correct. I took the weight of my used mobile.
