I am a homeowner with a day job who does not do anything construction related for a living. That being said I am working on framing out my basement and Bought this ru-vid.comUgkxHQsUrwNr5GQrnx9V4xDdUr56qxwuiBHt gun. I have done a few walls already, have probably shot a couple hundred nails through this thing and have yet to have a misfire. It works awesome, good depth on every nail if you have your compressor set right. My literal only complaint is that it is a bit heavy and my arm can get a little tired especially whrn I am nailing at odd angles. That being said I am super happy with it and would buy it again. Hoping the old girl allows me to get my whole basement finished out!
Our boss has the same no matter where you go I'm from Baltimore and I've been roofing for 30 years they've been like that every day of my life every job.. every job they're in the red!!
Dude its simple, to be able to do this for 8 or more hours in blazing heat is another thing. Ive been to er 3 times for heat exaustion. Lots of people are this fast . but for how long?
Let’s ignore the fact he isn’t getting a nail in until 12” past the right side and only putting 4-5 nails in each shingle. Wind damage on this roof 100%
This guy is one of the best shinglers I've ever witnessed. Fast nailing Correctly placed nails He doesn't WASTE COMPANY MONEY ON HAVING SOME ONE PASS HIM SHINGLES! This man is a siriouse example of hard work Dedication And self discipline. Who ever this man works for is varry lucky as well as the customer who is receiving the Roof. Great Job Brother. Your the real deal Mad Respect From Santa Rosa, Ca
I’ve personally worked with this man, I currently work for the company he has moved on from. I can say that my man can lay them down. He wears rope, harness, glasses and bags. Uses his gauge on his gun to manufactures exposure, starts on his second nail ten inches in to benefit his gun placement since his gun is already gauging the shingle right underneath. He puts his 5th nail through at the end, always on the mark. To put all the comments to rest, he pulls out his hammer and hammers down any high nails. I’ve worked with him and his brother and I aspire and learn from them every day to be the best roofer I can be. Washington state roofers represent
galbavy21 I’ve been shingling fresh out of high school, I’m getting faster but I’m still working on quality of nail placement and straight lines before I bang them out like him. He’s on another level, and his lines are prefect. His reveal on his ridge cap is always straight across the deck with no chalk line, he’s on another level
Dude is definitely a Beast however the steps I feel are too short and some of his nails are further than an inch from the end of the shingle. Not taking nothing away from his skill he is definitely one of the fastest Shinglers I’ve seen.
The guy that has the worlds fastest shingler channel really needs to see this guy, this guy is seriously fast and exacting, I’m a fast shingler myself, but this dudes another level, notice how his gun stays as close to the roof as possible, he’s using the same cadence every time , damn good video,, this is for all them arrogant roofers who think and brag about being the fastest,,,
The world's fastest Shingler iz kinda arrogant. I commented on this guy on his channel n his feed back was very negative. This guy iz fast n clean work
Alex Mares that’s what kinda pissed me off about that jimmy kimmel look alike.... when I said he was always bragging, and having that tittle ,was wrong, he didn’t like that, he’s always bragging, which is irritating in itself, this guy and a lot of others are fast like this, the bottom line is that,, how long can you keep that up and do you work every day, I work everyday , when you don’t work everyday.. you get a chance to get more rest, Guys get paid , then there gone for three days and broke
@@johnbailey2024 yes I'm a roofer myself n i had made a comment to him that I've seen faster roofers than a competition he did n calling all roofers that wer fast.he replied asuming that there's no possible way they could b faster but they could b sloppier.i understand he may b a stubborn roofer not open top learning
I guess this is cool when it’s new construction and nobody gives a shit about quality. Dudes nail patterns are crap. But who cares all the contractor wants us a cheap roof .
Are you fucked? Half are high nails aka above the nail line/ double laminate. just cause there not face nails don't mean there strait or perfect the stager is way to small as well should be about 10 inches not 6.
@@buildurtruckurway9118 hes installing high grade shingles which ALL have a wide nailing strip that allowed a wider target . Stop bitching that hard worker
@@joeb787 lmao those do not have a 2 inch nail strip. You obviously don't know shit, even on say a malarkey, an owns Corning duration an Iko dynasty ect all shingles with a true 2 inch double laminate still require the nail as close to the line as possible. Haha its not a race track with 2 extra lanes. Also a proper manufacturers nail pattern is either a 4 nail or a 1. 2. 2. 1 not 5, not a strait 6. Going that fast I guarantee one out every 3 nails isn't flat I know from 11 years real world experience and making idiots rip shit off. It's called standards and if you don't stick to them your just a hack like the rest end of discussion.
Who died and made you King Shingaling? 😄 Oh wait I'm receiving word! The former King Shingaling has died. Ladies and Gentlemen! I give you The New King Shingaling! 👑🏰
Calls Boss man before he gets to job site "Yes sir I've finished shingling the roof can I go home for the day?" Boss: "The fuck? It's only 9:30 in the morning!
damn, just watched some dudes claiming to be really fast(one youtuber, fastest shingler in the world). and boy were they slow compared to you. thats FAST
@@NWIVeteranConstruction you are good zack I agree, love your channel. But what makes this guy fast is that he skips his first nail until the next run as where you do one three one he does the last three nails in the shingle he is on and what would be the first nail in the last run of shingles, which is pretty sufficient if you think about it
This guy is 💯. He isn't really pre set up. He didn't put all shingles same way. Nails look proper. Half of"fast roofers" on RU-vid put it so they have the best odds or their nails are improper. This guy is official. Hats off to you
Those safety lines should have a tensioner so there's not so much slack. If he fell he might as well hit the ground instead of hanging upside down 1ft from the ground.
No se trata de aserlo muy rápido se trata de que lo hagas correctamente es mi opinión Dios bendiga a toda las personas que pasen su trabajo correctamente.
dude is insanely talented, I will admit that, I could never hope to be that fast, however he starts nailing about 1/3 of the way in so there is a large piece of each shingle on the outside edge without a nail in it.
@@MathieusTheWalkingWitness its abut reach and ease of movement, its slower to reach over to the edge nail, hes basically hovering over the part he wants an d banging them off.
Would love to see the overall end of the job probably not straight no nail in the end the but ends look gap. Would love to see that nail pattern and how many shiners he gets.
Him and I shingle just about the same but were required 6 nails . From my dad my uncles my brother's, I'm the only one that up and bent over. Uts faster I believe
Give this guy a damn medal. This is Phenomenal. This is Fast and amazing quality. I had a hard time consuming the fact that he landed 99% of his shots on spot and never went off course. Legend man.
He actually missed a lot. Over nailed it in the middle and nailed it too far back from the edges. Go back and stop the video. You'll see. That roof won't meet the manufacturer's requirements for a warranty. 2"-3" from the edge is unacceptable. I know, I'm a roofing inspector with 35 years of experience a 2nd generation roofer. 😉
@@YankeeWoodcraft what you are saying is true but with 35 years that means you know that nails are not the most important thing to keep the shingles on the roof if the tar dose not sick you can put 10 nails and it will still blow off. from what i have see most people dont have the right nailing pattern any way the nails are to be evenly spaced on the shingles. with that being said this guy is still fast and if he would get used to nailing different he would still be just as fast.
Impressive 9 times out of 10 when I hear the gun going like that I assume his nails are high crooked and way off. But it appears to me he is very accurate and consistent. Most guys are slow and they still miss the fucking line.
I usually gotta think I'm just as fast, but damn. Fast & accurate 👌.. I know everyone loves Hitachi /Metabo, but that Bostitch don't play. !! What I'm currently shooting 🔫
Takes full advantage of the bounce in those basstadges. I know it well. But I could never control it. That's some surgical shyyt. Nothing but money. I bow.
Your speed comes from how fast and consistently you can place the shingle before you nail it.... the machine what they used to call me and I would say the same to this man.... a machine... speaking from experience 25 years later your back hurts every day😪😪😪
@Eddie Yochim I guess I'm one of the lucky ones I'll be 58 next month and I'm in the middle of hand nailing 47 square roof.... don't get me wrong I do hurt and wake up stiff😎👍👍👍
Half the nails aren't in the nail line / double laminate. Nails are janky as fuck half sit not flat/flush. This is a hack I see them all the time and have to rip the roof 5 years later. A good wind storm will blow that crap right off in a Canadian winter. put the nails in flat even spaced and not in the seam and preferably a bigger than 6 inch stager/step the second one of my guys starts nailing at 100mph that sides getting ripped back off and done to proper standard. Owner of Hiho roofing & exteriors and have been roofing 15 years and been on my own for 6 so this is a no bs response.
This is 100% the same way I do it. I'm not much slower then him. I love seeing people stip the first outside nail. Then hitting it at it's butted up to the next. Fast as fuck.
Boy your fast but crappy nail pattern fail big time your roof would blow off in Ak unethical roofing. This person paid for a quality roof and you should install with quality.
bruh, honestly thats farce.just slowdown 15% and run at least first, middle and last nails on thick strip to make it solid.otherwise its no go for most good paying legit contractors.
There is a plastic tab that should be removed on the back of each shingle to expose the glue. He is not doing that. That installation will fail when wind is strong enough. Bast and bad.
Yeah he’s got about three or four more good years in him then he’s gonna have to go out and be an estimator cause his backs gonna be shot to shit…. like every Roofer ever….
Anybody know what manufacturer of the gun he is using? I’m a retired journeyman electrician so my hats off to any tradesman. Jeez…he even changed the coil of nails fast!
ORa pinches envidiosos es cabron ese compa , reconoscanlo y si asi fuera hay estava su patron no lo va dejar que deje clavos levantados.. Como siempre la misma raza envidiosa valen queso mejor aprendan del compa..
